So what, he was just angry. Do you go to Orchard daily and see the traffic situation there? Sometimes, the drivers are too much. As if they owned the road there. I would side the driver. It was either he point his middle finger or an accident occurred and the bus driver injure his middle finger...Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:AFAIK, pointing middle finger will give a bad sign towards other ppl, the BCs should not be using such objectionable sign as to show anger against anyone.
The traffic situation in Orchard was heavy at that time because it could be the CNY season, ppl might want to go there to shop.Originally posted by muziq bus:So what, he was just angry. Who cares? Not like it will affect ridership rates.Originally posted by IsIsTRD:Just now saw a bus captain driving SBS3832 Y outside Dodby Ghaut Bus stop flashing highbeam and point middle fingerat a Corolla G9 driver cos she cut into his bus lane.
Not a polite gesture to point finger thought the G9 driver is at fault. Add worse to the situation, there are people at the bus stop witness his behavior too.
At that moment, SBST image was ruined by him.
No more.Originally posted by iveco:I just remembered some buses on Svc 51 used to have cameras to catch bus lane violators. Is this scheme still in place?
.... no need complain. just point the finger.Originally posted by samtlk:There are also drivers who point the middle finger at the BCs just because the BCs refuse to let them filter left to turn into Plaza Singapura even though traffic in the bus lane is allowed to go straight and it was suppose to be "Give Way to buses" too. That one complain to who?
Haven't come back to Singapore, don't talk so much.Originally posted by iveco:Especially with Orchard Rd bus lanes becoming full day now.
BTW, it was a mistake to close Somerset Rd near Youth Park to ALL traffic. Buses headed for Scotts Rd have a hard time trying to get to Ngee Ann City as the situation looks worse. Not to mention that commuters have to walk further to Grange Rd if they are headed for Paterson Rd and other destinations. The least LTA could do was to turn the affected stretch of road into a buses only zone.
