Throwing this: If SBS can allow 3 brunched empty ADD on pampered svs, 151 also have 3 brunched aircon SDs... If they are so willing to bear losses on pampered rts, then it should be across the board

also, there may be some night shift (start at midnight) workers who take the last bus out to their workplace... -
from what i see, many people who take 72 from YCK, hotspots:
YCK - Hougang Ave 9
Hougang ave 9/4 - Hougang MRT
Hougang - Tampines
and from Tampines direction, the hot spots are:
Tampines - Hougang MRT - Hougang ave 9
Hougang ave 4/9 - YCK
Ang Mo Kio ave 9 - YCK (worst during PM peak)
Thats why, even with NEL, the ppl in hougang still wanna cramp with AMK/YCK ppl at Yio Chu Kang, assuming those ppl are going to the city, which is always the case mostly. -

Which services did u see 3 brunched empty ADD? Sv 74? SBST of course will be making money on those pamper routes. -
but then.. looking at it... 151 is really the only service, which is long-haul, town-to-town, dedicated-destination route, with the most non-aircon buses (in %), and it cant have double deckers. Its frequency is also questionable, dispite its "popularity"
So many students/ passengers are also pointing fingers at 151. regulars can even bet that a non-aircon bus will come. GUARANTEED.

The Sv 151 saga never ends
As was on the way to Clementi during noon, still see NAC MK2 towards NUS trying to cope... Like this, the bus can stop at major bus stops like Opp NP for up to 4 mins!
Reason why ppl are complaining is simple, like what I have said, they earn millions a year yet such service lapse can occur though other svs have empty buses brunching... Another thing is the irritating high % of NAC deployment, students buy AC stamp yet they get NAC buses -
If SBS Transit operations staff deem that the service is operationally capable to handle the passenger load, so be it? Empty buses brunching? I also regular of Sv151. Out of all my 151 trips for the past year, only like 10% was MK4 Strider. I seriously wonder why they have Service 151A which does nto have much pax during PM Peak as compared to Service 151. Maybe they should deploy Sv151A buses on Sv151 instead. You can accuse for all you want, these flamming I suspect is just to take control of here by force..
But your attitude of sweeping SBS's dirt under the carpet is not going to last for long...
Sooner or later, for all you may know, ppl will just boycott SBS on these dirty record svs by taking private tpt...
I suggest SBS to be fair, like Sv 6, if it is PAC, deploy at least 1 AC bus on Weekday... Passengers do not accept that "Because I provide FAC on Weekend mah"... If Singapore wants to have good customer service, bus operators should stop all these excuses... To be World Class means passengers complains are heard and changes are made accordingly as far as possible -

Shame to many here... Hardcore Bus fans but cannot make feedbacks to SBS over these poorly runned bus svs... Fare payers yet they are not given equal service standards...
I do hope every single SBS svs can be PAC since Gerald Ee says NAC buses are around because of lower income folks..
