i can't wait to see the SMRT/CSS Nissans go to the scrapeyards......esp on sv 178 and 980 nowdaysOriginally posted by ^tamago^:Only Mk II's will have a lifespan of 19 years. This was answered by SBST in an email at the time when the extension was effected.
The CSS CAC's are allowed on the roads till 2010, same as LO3x.
The last LO3x, SBS9199C will go in 2011.Originally posted by ^tamago^:Only Mk II's will have a lifespan of 19 years. This was answered by SBST in an email at the time when the extension was effected.

sbst scania's are one of the older generation buses with generous legroom.Originally posted by K800i:Good, the scanias are going. I find some of you guys are wierd to like SBST's scanias . Sorry no offence . Such lousy scrap metals should had been long gone.
My sentiments, but I am sorry that the CRBs will have to go. They were the premium buses with many qualities in their favour. As it is, none can escape age though, many squeak, groan, rattle, leak, vibrate these days, no use hanging on. I've taken two pic, 54X, 3695B for rememberance.Originally posted by K800i:Good, the scanias are going. I find some of you guys are wierd to like SBST's scanias . Sorry no offence . Heard about this too and yes nine Volvo B9TL buses have been officiallyOriginally posted by SGEMP:Don't know what happened, but I just now went up onto HKitalk as a visitor and found out some information about the already-released (not confirmed yet) regoes of Volvo B9TLs.
Refer here:
http://www.hkitalk.net/HKiTalk2/viewthread...&extra=page%3D1 (in Chinese only).
Once I have time, I would double-check with onemotoring to check see if the regoes stated in HKitalk are really released.
