I took 7317S on svc 21. Fantastic bus. The time I took that bus, it came from the bus depot. First revenue service for this bus around lunch time. I talked to a few drivers, they were very happy with the bus. It was quiet in front (driver's cabin area) , engine was quiet and smooth. Unlike 98XX series VSO , this bus is more powerful in acceleration especially climbing uphill. The seating arrangement in both lower and upper back seats are pretty unique . Lower deck ( remind me of those old non-aircon Leyland buses ) and upper deck (I find it pretty wierd seating at the back with the seat in front facing each other, but I guess I can get used to it.)
I definately prefer this bus over VSO (98XX series). In fact this bus has the potential to become my favourite DD bus. For those that have not taken it. You will enjoy the bus. -

If you dint know that Sv21 perms are always full during peak. For direction 2, u take from Geylang onwards from 5PM till late night, SDs sure full and DDs mostly full and its COMMON SIGHT.Originally posted by XTransbus:actually quite silent you could barely hear it. how come they use those with regos starting from 7300++ , why not the 9900++ ?

who haven't took B9TL huh....
actually, as agreed by some of those who took with me, the bus can be quite nostalgic - acceleration is like LO2x, retardation is like OF~! -
took one today... better than b10s...
i kinda dislike the wheels tho -

Took the SBS7305B today to St. Michael's Ter & I must compliment the B9TL as its a one of a kind of DD with comfortable yellow cheerful looking individual bucket seats & the very cool air-con. As it is in its 2nd day of revenue service, the new bus "smell" was also present.
Noticed that lots of people were looking at the bus be it at the bus stop, walking along the roads, etc but the one with the wheelchair ad were the ones that made people noticed more.
It's really a very nice bus to be in wheather to work, play or even joyrides. Most importantly, it has benefitted the wheelchair uses who can now save money by using these buses to get to their destionations instead of taxis.
Last but not least, I'm looking forward to having more trips on the B9TL as well as for the remaining buses to be in service

should assign these vandals take CAC nissans or NAC SBST buses instead of these gd buses
