There's only 2 type of printers, dot matrix or thermal printing
dot matrix uses ribbon and needles to print tickets or receipts, this the machine is ex, but in the long run is cheaper because of the cheaper paper
Thermal which is used for the new gen VOs, machine is cheap, but paper is real ex, another thing abt the paper is that it turns yellow within 1 week. As the name goes, it uses heat to print the tickets -

Overheard a SMRT bus driver conversation while taking 67 . Another driver was talking to the driver in duty and when they saw the B9TL, one of them said " Wah lao ,SBST got new bus again ,when is our company going to operate new bues " . The other one shakes his head " Wait long long lor " Haha.
When I took the buses both upstairs and downstairs , I seen people stepping on the seats (rear) ,wont be surprised to see the yellow seats turn black by the end of next month.
My favourite B9TL so far is 7317S , does anyone knows is this perm on 21 ? -
I just hope that with the CCTV onboard certain buses, vandals can be charged in court and be whipped.

this 2 days, saw the new bus while going to school. wanted to take it but then i scared i will be late for school.
the bus look cool from the outside. haven saw the inside yet. will specially take it one of this days. -

Buses will be introduced on services slowly and gradually. There will be 150 of this type on the roads. Services is not known yet. At this time , we can only speculate. Berita Harian reported that SBS Transit is monitoring the WABs on Service 21 for six months, before announcing other potential services for the WABs deployment. Really thank those who enjoyed the B9TL. Because I know that there have been a lot of hardships, fights, tears behind the scenes to make this bus a reality.
As the B9TL is going to replace many buses, hopefully we will be able to learn how to maintain this super sophisticated ECU oriented bus. Headache headache headache for the workshops. So long all get to enjoy, the headaches are worth it. -
