I don't think they will be equally distributed. They will more likely be distributed according to demands for WAB services after consultation with HWA and LTA.Originally posted by swee_heng:how many B9TLs are there? when is out , will it be distributed to all the SBS depots equally. I hope to see one on 97 , 98 , 143 , 161 and 168.![]()
In the first place the WAB are meant for the Wheelchair disable , so its quite obvious that 179 wun even get them.Originally posted by No_10_Tomas:1 svc i'm very sure 100% will not get WAB is

They still end up VSOs deployed on some rts as cameos, they're not scared of theseOriginally posted by No_10_Tomas:1 svc i'm very sure 100% will not get WAB is

but also once took it on S12, BC handles it badly, braking jerkily and such.
Maybe cameo liaoOriginally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:7321-051.JPG SBS7321D on S51 instead of 147
haiz , this is something that no one can controlOriginally posted by swee_heng:actually too test if B9s speed well , just deploy it on svcs like 161 or 168 to test. 1 thing for sure that 179 , 199 and 74 will nvr get B9s as students will disfigure the bus
Maybe more likely they won't make it up the hill...Originally posted by swee_heng:actually too test if B9s speed well , just deploy it on svcs like 161 or 168 to test. 1 thing for sure that 179 , 199 and 74 will nvr get B9s as students will disfigure the bus
That's why the B9TL are fitted with CCTV's.Originally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:haiz , this is something that no one can control
the BC can't say students get out of the bus , or monitor what they are doing , in every bus you can see vandalism whether you like it or not .
and for goodness sake , you mean only 179 199 74 gets students to school throughout singapore ? crap lah
So what? A small litred engine doesn't really mean it is not powerful. Just like a skinny guy, look very skinny but actually very fit.Originally posted by stooper:Maybe more likely they won't make it up the hill...![]()
VO2x @ 9.6L, LO@10L, Merc @ 12L... B9TL @ 9.4L (includes A/C)

Powerful ? lol.. i Dont Believe.. Especially when i alwayz experience a roll back of B9 then trying to struggle up a small slope.. when other VOs could do it pretty well..Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:So what? Don't judge the book by its cover ! Hmmm.... actually the B9TLs has one of the most powerful engine in SBSTransits' DD fleet. Wiki says it has a maximum bhp of 340, more than the Trident. But businfohub says it has 300bhp, so there might be a debate here.

It is possible to get some extra power from an engine; by installing an intercooler, for example. However, torque is a different story. How much torque an engine produce is dependent on the stroke of the piston. Larger stroke = larger torque. The B9 is offered with a 300 hp or a 340 hp engine. SBST chose the former. The Cummins M11 on the Trident is rated at 305 hp. When comparing power for size, the Volvo D9A300 is better.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:So what? There's still chance. But there will definitely be services with priority. Besides, the infrastructure at Woodlands Regional Interchange is not PIW and WAB friendly, hence I believe there won't be WABs on services 161 and 168 at this point of time.Originally posted by swee_heng:so that means no B9s for 161
no one knows for now, we just have to wait and see...Originally posted by phillipC:Will Sv 7 get it ?
