Echoing off_service's reply, SBST might have realised that there are no positive outcome with the stickers. Precisely why they weren't re-applied on older Superbuses and none from the beginning on the B9TLs.Originally posted by eX.A.K.R.:Yes, but they were never applied to the B9TLs in the first place.
The VO2Xes also didn't have this stickers until the rebranding of SBS into SBS Transit - the stickers used to identify SBS' Superbuses (i.e. air-conditioned double-decks) with the Superbus logo, but the rebranding turned it into a normal SBS Transit logo. I guess they decided to slap it onto the windscreens of the VO2Xes for consistency, but... why are they missing from the B9TLs?
I think the second one is correct. Notice a bus with the sticker. If a bus gets e.g. the panda eyes ad, when they take the ad off, the sticker is not there. So no need for sticker wat.Originally posted by off_service:SBST is the only company with DD.. all the new buses are aircon.. So.. they don't see the need for the logo? Infact it's a good thing since they don't have to keep peeling it off as the adverts now frequently use that space.

It could well be the reason why Superbus this title is just discontinuedOriginally posted by QX5216J:duh. probably u can ask this 'did anyone notice that some buses on sv 88 had SBS colours or Superbus logo infront?'![]()

bus going over 60 km /h (Speed limit)Originally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:Has anyone noticed the occasional "beeping" sound in the B9TLs coming from the dashboard area? Anyone knows what is the purpose of the beeping?
Nah, veri unlikely...Public Transport Buses always have speed limters in them. Besides, these sound only appear when the bus is slowing down or moving off...But sometime it appears at crusing speed too...Strange...Originally posted by SBS1985C:bus going over 60 km /h (Speed limit)
ya stinking annoying.. di di di di diOriginally posted by The_Bus_Guide:I believe that's the sound that comes when the BC turns on the direction indicator light (turning signal).
You are very sure it is the turn idicator? Sounds too loud liao.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:ya stinking annoying.. di di di di di
it is...cuz i look at driver each time he signals left or right the sound is out..heres a tip when u take the b9tls...sit at the first floor near the front wheel there then juz watch the driver k?Originally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:You are very sure it is the turn idicator? Sounds too loud liao.
I personally think that it comes from 1 of the 2 "High Tech" blue box which is placed beside the driver. Maybe the beeping comes on if he is running late on shedule? Or some EZ-Link card reader funtion that is only present in the B9TL.
Thats just my personal opinion. Hope some SBST mechanics can tell us what that beeping sound is.![]()
Got to agree with your point there. I noticed that whenever the driver pulls into the bus bay or getting out there will be this sound. But i think it is way too loud if it is a turn indicator.Originally posted by SBS9888Y:it is...cuz i look at driver each time he signals left or right the sound is out..
its maybe because inside the b9tls are very quiet...but b10tls indicator the sounds is close to nothing...Originally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:Got to agree with your point there. Can be very irritating, esp for the driver. 2nd deck can hear the sound already i dunno how the bus driver can tahan whole journey... Hats off to them
PS: I will take note of when the sound will come out the next time i take a B9TL, be it commuting or taking a joyride.
Queensway? Jln Bt Merah? C'wealth Ave?Originally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:I haven't sat in a B10TL yet... There is no B10TLs near my house...But alot of B9TL.... Must take a ride in the B10TLs one of these days. From what i observe, the B9TL's engine sound nicer from the outside than the B10TLs. Maybe it is becoz of the turbo present in the B9TLs.
