  meant as an indicator for vehicles behind when the bus is trying to keep to a right lane.

  actually, the bus has those ramps means its wheel chair friendly. that may in turn points to toa Payoh.. where theres more physically handicapped people. so there may be a demand.
  
  if we are talking about more old folks in some areas, IMO. since 166 goes to chinatown.. theres CT8 etc.
  
  I daresay they wont deploy them on dedicated services!

  It was driven by a svc 16 BC on 196 route. THe vehicle involved was a 1982 LA (WA Type L).
