Sv 171 – Amended subsequently in 1993, 1994 & 1999.
PS: I compare the bus routes using the TL Guides at NLB, and also the Route History Collection by tranquilice.
Perhaps, you guys missed out on Sv 33. -

A number of things were missed.
33 - Not only was it just moved to Bedok, there was a time when 33 didn't ply Old Airport Rd. In 1986, there were 2 versions. One via Geylang Rd/Sims Avenue (original) and the other via Dunman Rd/Old Airport Rd. Eventually, the latter is retained.
74 - This one also evolved a number of times. First, it was extended to Upp Serangoon Terminal. Then it was amended to Buona Vista and finally moved to Hougang Central.
154 - Not only was it amended to ply Clementi Ave 6, it was also extended to Eunos Interchange from MacPherson. -
We have forgotten good 'ol CSS 608. It is relatively unchanged since 1981! Only the number change.

Consider Sv 166. The route remains unchanged after it was amended. The only thing that it was shortened to Clementi Int, with the closure of Labrador Ter in the late 1980s.

This comes as a surprise because when I checked back the 1989-90 Bus Guide, 74 was still going by Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 and Upp Thomson Rd. I don't have any records of bus routes between 1990 and 1994 but the amendment was made between this period because the 1994 Transitlink Guide already reflects the present route. Possibly it was made when the route was extended to Upp Serangoon circa. 1991/2.
