  Nope , Sv 858 starts from Woodlands Int , not Yishun Int

  I think a faster way would be take 858 change 168 at Jln Kayu near the Seletar Camp Gate.

  Change to Svc 335 and alight at Jurong West Ave 1 & walk 1 stop.
  Alight at Boon Lay change 157, 174 or 198 also can.
  
  Alternatively, take 65,64, 139 along Jln Besar to Penang Rd & change to Express 502. Cost more expensive by faster.

  Can take 174 from Penang Rd also.
  
  Another option: Take 66 along Jln Besar, alight anywhere between Bt Timah Rd (Coronation Plaza) & Bt Batok, transfer to 157 (alight at JW Ave 1 os Blk 536 {main gate} or Corporation Rd opp JJC {side gate}) or to 174 (alight at Boon Lay Ave os Blk 213).

  Alternative would be take 16/36 to Somerset/orchard area change 190.
  
  36 also can change to 105/132 after Tomlinson Rd.

  wat looks comfortable to me is 16/36 change to 190... becos then i will know where to connect... orchard area is easy...

  tomlinson road is at tanglin mall/tanglin place/traders' hotel/camden medical centre there......... where 36 turns back from orchard boulevard and goes to orchard rd.

  what is the best way to go to adam road (around adam food centre - so drop near coronation plaza along Bukit Timah road is fine too) from stevens road (metropolitan YMCA)?
  
  i can only think of this:
  take 190 to far east plaza, cross the road and take 171, drop at coronation plaza.
  
  any other better way?
