Advertisements on bus obstructing commuters' visibility?

Have any one taken buses full of advertisement on the windows and have difficulty recognizing your destination? Do you think the advertisements are obstructing commuters' visibility?
Advertisement at the expenses of commuters visibility? Should buses keep advertisement away from the side windows of the buses? -
I believe so, mostly seen it on DDs.

I have never seen advertisements on the driver front wind screen because this is dangerous for the lives on bus. So putting at the side is considered acceptable?

my point is that if u can help it, passengers would rather sit next to windows without ad if they are more into sight-seeing... -
i doubt thats important at all. but i would say that i have been obstructed by the ads from recognising the destination b4 and do think it might be better if can remove from the windows.Originally posted by SBS9828X:interesting topic...

I think that the contravision ads are quite irritationg. There are many ways that bus companies can have advertyisements like in bus ads on even advertising on bus destos. -
can also put up ads on altetrnate windows...

Now even MRT trains also have ads all over the windows panel. StupiG idea. As well cover the whole and all those windows better rite? Damn toad idea. Wondering whose idea is it.

Situation 1:
Its afternoon. I am sitting in a bus cvered with some mad advertisement. i get mad because i cant see outside and risk alighting at the wrong stop
Situation 2:
Lets say i am standing.. the bus has no ads.. thats also going to affect my vision to see outside.
Situation 3:
Its at night. I am sitting on a bus with No ads. Its also difficult to see the outside
Situation 4: At night, sitting in a bus full of advetisements.
So we can see, Situation 3 and 4 are no much differences to Situation 1. And since Situation 3 and 4 are daily occurances, we shouldnt complain that we may alight at the wrong stop.. since i am sure more people will agree no ads at night is worse!
and, i tell you all that with 45c and 64c fares like that, SBS sure close down within a few years.. more or less, advertisements had helped in increasing revenue, significantly. -

i know there's this blind couple in hougang.
husband goes to work at toa payoh rise. he says he 'feels' and 'hears' the bus movement(engine sound + door bells + doors closing) to know whether the bus has reached his stop or not. -

actually, when SBS had their 1st bus wif overall ad, LTA immediately order them to remove them, however, tat would breach the contract bet SBS and the Company, so SBS negotiate wif LTA, finallay they were allowed but not the front, recently SBST are allowed to do so at the UPP windscreen...
personally for mi, i HATE it, i dunno y but when i look at the ad for to long, i will get a headache, so i will NEVER seat NEXT to a CONTRAVISION AD, at most is the outside of the seat... -

FYI, ads are made of rubber/plastic or rather flammable materials. If kana burn will gives out black smoke. ANyone knows that black smoke is poison????And this more deadly????

That ad on that bus is hopeless... SMRT can't be bothered to remove the ad... the ad is all tearing off. They only replaced the back of the bus with an Epson ad... I personally feel that the advertisements are creating difficulties for recognizing destinations. It come to worse at night when i can hardly see any thing outside. For buses that are too crowded, the commuters can hardly move around or being blocked by peoples to check the locations. This makes the trip quite uneasy when passengers have to worry that the bus overshot their designated places.
