cannot la. must place on the sides so that your face wont be seen by the public!!Originally posted by Apex-LW'21:Me too. Can't the ads be placed on the side, just like the ads you seen on LAs, LO2x & VO2x DDs??![]()
Simple. Because the expire date of that ads not due so if replace those torn area not worth it and the ads company ( should I name them?Originally posted by stooper:That ad on that bus is hopeless... SMRT can't be bothered to remove the ad... the ad is all tearing off. They only replaced the back of the bus with an Epson ad... While they can't be bothered to remove the side Asia Travel ad...
Because the ads due date reach liao so must remove and wait for new ads to come.Originally posted by brotherchen1982:You notice some buses have the ads on windows removed???
You didn't noticed some new ads originally pasted on bus windows was removed aft a few wks even the ad due date is still long away???Originally posted by Manager433:Because the ads due date reach liao so must remove and wait for new ads to come.
actualy, if u notice carefully, the ads WILL NOT cover ALL the window...so if u shift urself abit, u can c the outside, actually, u can jus c thru the ads mah...Originally posted by grandeur:I feel that putting advertisements on the windows is like a person covering the glasses that he is wearing which reduces his angle of visibility. Will you feel uneasy when some one place a tape to cover half of your eye and reduce half angle of your visibility?
can u tink of the feasibility b4 suggesting anything...Originally posted by grandeur:Should LTA make rule that bus companies must keep advertisement away from the side windows to ease commuters?
You are not putting yourself in the shoes of commuters. Comparing windows with advertisements and windows without advertisements, which one is more covenient? One can clearly point out that windows without advertisement is convienient. Yes you can see a little through the advertisements but creating confusion and unsure because of reduced visibility.Originally posted by alex_cai92:actualy, if u notice carefully, the ads WILL NOT cover ALL the window...so if u shift urself abit, u can c the outside, actually, u can jus c thru the ads mah...
Yah i thought of feasibility before suggesting that. I feel this is feasible. Any one feel this is feasible as i do?Originally posted by alex_cai92:can u tink of the feasibility b4 suggesting anything...
SBST is LISTED.. = need to answer to shareholder = need $$$, tats how listed co. is, so NO WAY will SBST remove, unless everyone dun take their svc anymore...Yes, u r tinking for the commuter, but will SBST agree, no.Originally posted by grandeur:You are not putting yourself in the shoes of commuters. if you do not want to see advertisements on the windows, then get prepared to pay for higher fare...Originally posted by grandeur:You are not putting yourself in the shoes of commuters. tell mi HOW FEASIBLE IS TAT, that SBST or SMRT will do tat without affecting anybody, fares etc.Originally posted by grandeur:Yah i thought of feasibility before suggesting that. I feel this is feasible. Any one feel this is feasible as i do?
I suggested clear the windows of advertisements didn't mean to remove all advertisements from the buses. Buses company can still have advertisements on buses and outside the buses. They are still able to collect extra revenue from advertisements.Originally posted by lemon1974:if you do not want to see advertisements on the windows, then get prepared to pay for higher fare...
Advertisements can still be carry on, that's mean that it is still feasible without affecting much on fare.Originally posted by alex_cai92:tell mi HOW FEASIBLE IS TAT, that SBST or SMRT will do tat without affecting anybody, fares etc.

If that was the case, then why they did remove the part of the ad at the back of the bus and replace it with a Epson ad?Originally posted by Manager433:Simple.
