Advertisements on bus obstructing commuters' visibility?

Should LTA make rule that bus companies must keep advertisement away from the side windows to ease commuters?

I feel that putting advertisements on the windows is like a person covering the glasses that he is wearing which reduces his angle of visibility. Will you feel uneasy when some one place a tape to cover half of your eye and reduce half angle of your visibility?

You notice some buses have the ads on windows removed???

You are not putting yourself in the shoes of commuters. Comparing windows with advertisements and windows without advertisements, which one is more covenient? One can clearly point out that windows without advertisement is convienient. I suggested clear the windows of advertisements didn't mean to remove all advertisements from the buses. Buses company can still have advertisements on buses and outside the buses. Wrap round ad (such as those on LO2x or VO2x) is around S$1600 (not wholly painted). The amount is roughly what i can remember last time. Not sure for now...
btw, i can tell u that nowadays advertisers are very particular.. They want to spend their advertising money at where they can get the most attraction.
So imagine, they paint the whole DD with their ad, but with no contravision ad,that mean there will be a lot of restrictions on what can be done the bus ad. The ad might be cut off from bottom to upper deck..
So in the end, they end up spend their advertising money elsewhere instead on bus ad since they cant get proper attraction on their ad... -
so, conclusion is LTA wun post a rule say tat NO CONTRA ad allowed, especially when they jus allowed them on the upp windscreen, they will nvr do tat as long as they r a company, not charity organisation.
for example, do u tink how citybuzz survive? u tink the no. of pax can sustain? its the ADVERTISEMENT!!! -
i dont know if you've read this article.. but i read an article where a person used to take the bus and always looked thru the contravision ads.
he's myopic and wore glasses.
after abt 3 years, he started having terrible headaches and went to a doctor. doctor cudnt find anything wrong with him. and the next time he went to an optician, the optician asked, "you have perfect eyesight. why wear specs?"
