When you come to this forum, did you see the headline "Complaints On Buses"? No. This is a Singapore bus enthusiasts forum. And who are YOU to tell people to get lost? We are an integral part of the bus community and have been discussing online, some have even met up, for years. In my opinion, YOU are the one who should get lost and never come back to this bus forum. You can't tell a Voith from a ZF can you? -

Service 265's frequency is about 10minutes during peak hours. Not bad actually. The route between AMK central and Ave 10, quite short. So not much of problem if it's non-air con. If it is, just wait for next one.

Hey guys, relax! It is of no use poking your nose into when you whine about NACs on Sv 265. Those arguments should come to a STOP from now. Never give trouble to yourself or anyone else here.

you know.. 291 and 293 is full aircon. peak hours have some no aircon. ok understand
265.. well, the no aircon bus are there whole day. if they only appear in peak hours, can still understand. since they letting some ACbus stay in the depot.. or some VSO on 25 already back to depot as early as 8.15am..

The reason why 265 is getting NACs is because a few of the 0405 CAC buses are used in new Bishan Services such as 52, 58, 59...etc. Anyway NAC Scania will retire by the end of this year and shortly we won't get to see them again.
So endure for this time. For me, I am a frequent 74 passanger. They have NAC DD VO2x. -

It is due to some sort of commercial decision of SBST that cause sv265 to have non-aircon buses. Maybe due to the nature of the areas covered by that sv265(amk st 11, amk townctr, amk st 54).....hence the NACs.........
In fact you should cherish the chance for you to ride on NACs.......NACs are retiring very fast.....and so the cheap fares brought abt by NAC.............wait later when entire sv265 is FAC...... cheap fares plus "special experiences" of travelling by NAC buses......would be a thing of the past...............

In this world, nothing is perfect. We see people complaining aircon buses too cold on rainy days, yet some "have aircon like no aircon".
Let me try to have a neutral stand here. Service 265 is a Townlink service, but how many passengers take from end to end? The most is you are in the bus for 20 minutes. I know because I was a regular on 265.
Sidetrack a little, yet again, we see people urging for fully aircon fleet for bus companies, yet they don't want fare hikes. They want this and that features on the bus, but fare hike is a no-no. Sometimes we need to understand, when the bus co are trying to meet demands for commuters, they have to invest in money. No pain no gain, in this context, no hike no improvement.
Bus deployments are also determined by travel pattern throughout the day. If the service you take doesn't consist of many aircon buses, or only have aircon buses during certain periods, all I can say is too bad. So don't complain about this service no aircon that service so many new aircon buses. The world doesn't revolve around you. Sometimes they have to make tough decisions like this, not because they like it, but they have constraints.
For those who are wealthy enough, take a cab. For those who aren't as fortunate, get a life and live with it. Be glad you have buses to ferry you around. Wait till the day when a road is closed and no bus to ply a particular route, I can foresee loads of complaints again.
Bus companies can NEVER satisfy and pacify every single passenger.
