According to streetdirectory.com & posts from SINBus, the Temp Boon Lay Int will be located on the side of Boon Lay Stn.
The existing BNL Int will be torn down when the Temp Int is ready. (date unconfirmed) -

no for me oso cos i take 179 AFTER it leaves boon lay once in a blue moon...i walk to sch 95% of the time

If they say there is going to be an temporary bus interchange, how come I don't see the tender notices for the contract being posted on the Government tender website within the last 6 months?
Please do not post unconfirmed information.
This is like what Mighty Minds has done, like placing MCE (Marina Coastal Expressway) or the so called "Paya Lebar Viaduct" or even better still, "Kaki Bukit Viaduct" on those roads that are either stilled being designed, or being built, or completed but not named yet - jumping the gun. -

yep, the current interchange will be close, and the temporally interchange will be open. then the currently interchange will be doing some upgrade, most likely the condition of the place might be air condition.

The new site is now building. Actual date of moving is not known yet. I talked to the BL RG management. Even the BL RG manager himself also don't know. So Dun wan to speculate. The current interchange will undergo facelift. Transforming it into something like Toa Payoh Concept. This idea has been in progress for ages.
Expect some enormous change to the current interchange and great improvement to service and facilities after the facelift. The moving of things will be extremely difficult. We have too many things to move and too little manpower. So have to plan and work things out properly. I will be involved in the moving of technicians stuffs. -

The plot of land which the current Boon Lay Int sits on will be developed into a condominium cum bus interchange, probably with shops as well.
