The Library side is done & open to public but the CC side still do some consruction/painting going on. -

anyway the station names are alrd finalised as Pioneer and Joo Koon. a new bus interchange will also be built to cater to the industrial estates.
it's time Boon Lay MRT takes a break. -
Boon Lay MRT extension to have two stations
Elaborating on the decision to go ahead with the Boon Lay MRT extension, Mrs Lim explained, "Currently, Jurong West is served by two MRT stations - Lakeside and Boon Lay. Residents in this area and those working in the Jurong Industrial Estate are also served by the very busy Boon Lay bus interchange.
"Those of you who use the MRT or bus interchange during the morning and evening peak hours will definitely agree with me that you can feel the pulse and energy of the community just by looking at the throngs of commuters going through them.
"This congested situation is something that both the Ministry and LTA are aware of, and have in fact been monitoring for some years already." -

Also got lot of illegal hawkers along the walkway in Boon Lay Int cause it very difficult to move around during peak hrs...

A site beside Boon Lay MRT Stn is the proposed location for a $720m intergrated project that will include Singapore largest suburban mall.
The project is planned to be completed between 2008 & 2009 and will include an air-conditioned bus interchange, a 620-unit condominium & a 290,000 sq ft mall, which will be combined with Jurong Point to form the gaint mall.
The project will be developed by Prime Point Reality Development, a joint venture between Lee Kim Tah Holdings,Guthrie GTS and German investment TMWPCCW.
Lee Kim Tah and Guthrie own the Jurong Point mall. -

yeah. sengkang int is badly planned. toa payoh.. because the land is government's land.
in sengkang, u can see its hot and dark -
In the money section of the Straits time, 3 to 4 days ago, there was an article with an artist impression as well.

An entrance to Boon Lay Temp Int is created bef the svc 254 bus stop along Jurong West St 64, the exit is created facing the car park entrance along Jurong West St 64.

A bit off here: The Temp Clementi Int is completed halfway. One of it is the roofs were being installed.

There are 3 POSB ATM machines facing the Int, then become 3 ATM machines on both side but has been sealed up a few years ago cos of safety reason...
BTW, the boarding berths plate are up, so let's wait for the bus svc no. to be put up & countdown for the opening of Boon Lay Temp Int...
