I agree with you on this . This is the common problem facing from both SMRT and SBST . They should concentrate on reducing waiting . Are both companines short of buses ?Originally posted by Medicated Oil:Please use your common sense.
The real time will change due to traffic condition.
So, it will be like the shares price, up and down.
I am wondering whether the USERS of the bus service need this INFORMATION.
This information will tell u how long u have to wait.
You cannot do anything but wait, unless it is like 20 mins and you can drink a cup of coffee.
Or it is just some fancy and expensive idea thought out by people who dun take the public transport but have to implement some stupid plan to impress his boss.
Remember the newspaper on the bus program ?
Where are the newspaper now ?
Please stop trying to uphold some stupid pride of some stupid ass to make more useless idea work with precious money wasted.
Please work on reducing the ACTUAL issue of LONG WORKING TIME, not to tell the passengers to wait LONG LONG.

Its called service quality. Some other open-minded might want to know the timing. Its different for buses. One can take an alternate route if the waiting time is made known to the public.Originally posted by Medicated Oil:Please use your common sense.

There...only bus enthusiasts can navigate around singapore easily if this kind of situation happens...Originally posted by Medicated Oil:Please read my comments CAREFULLY.
The timing for the arrival of the bus may not be so accurate due to the peak timing traffic and passengers moving to the back of a packed bus.
When you take a bus journey from point A to point B, you will choose the bus route with the least timing.
If your designated bus is delayed, taking a alternate bus route will lead to more delays.
OK! Finally now i agree with you!Originally posted by Medicated Oil:I admit that I am not a bus enthusiasts.
I dun test out the real timing of the bus route to my destination every time to determine Plan B if Plan A dun make it before I take a bus.
I understand that for one of you, it can be a information that you can be proud about.
Too bad I dun really have the extra time and money to do that.
I stand by the comments that the timing will varies according to the traffic so taking a so-called alternate route will NOT helped.
Every one will take the bus route with the shortest timing required.
Unless you catergorised your trip through slow, fast & faster, and you always choose the fast plan and using the faster plan as backup.
Then you are right.
Depends on the drivers...Originally posted by brotherchen1982:The approximated departure timings in Ints are +/- 5 mins on the time shown, c
