IKEA charters 9 SBS buses for Weekend Shuttles

I got the feeling that only KJDEP and AMDEP is involved in this Shuttle
Most likely is full 0405 fleet , or maybe other models but not nissan of cos

If SMRT buses were to be used they will most likely operate from the interchange(SMRT Areas), but according to the IKEA website(as of 3/7/06), it's not.
But if IKEA decides to use SMRT buses, then maybe it could be due to the fact that SBST buses have mosquitoes, who knows? -

As for if SMRT were to use those Nissan buses then I wouldn't want to comment anything about their EDS coz it pointless or should I say no words can describe its EDS but as for other models then there's surely something to talk aboutOriginally posted by stooper:LOL... I spotted TIB503Z having an IKEA ad as well today but there's an indirect way of knowing if those SMRT buses with IKEA ads are IKEA shuttles by just look at the interior whereby the original floor would be covered with the "fake" wooden flooring, every rear bucket seats with some IKEA info regarding some exchange policy, etc just like those found on the current SBST IKEA shuttles.

I mean, if SMRT Buses were not IKEA shuttles then perhaps IKEA could have just done the external body ad instead of doing up the interior as well (cut costs as well as not to confuse others who thought might be IKEA shuttles). But anyway, I just hope someone who have taken the IKEA shuttle from today onwards can post here if IKEA is still using the SBST Buses as their shuttle service

Saw 631L doing the BNL one today. EDS displayed nothing. Instead, an A4 paper was pasted on the windscreen saying it was the IKEA shuttle.

Seems that SMRT take over the operations of IKEA shuttle from SBST, just like Trans Island took over Bt Batok/CCK/Bt Panjang services from SBS in the past.

Took 583S today from Sengkang. The front EDS displayed 2 lines, cannot remember exactly but it was something like
IKEA FREE SHUTTLE
SENGKANG <-> IKEA
The side EDS was blank. -
