Service 980

Does anyone have any comments regarding service 980? As for me, I got very sick of those old and dirty Nissan U31 especially the CAC (TIB1248D - TIB1256E) cameoing on this service every now and then

Those CAC Nissan is SP. They only cameoed on 980 once in a while. -
These buses have been serving Svc 920 and 921 since last year.
Recently have missing and camoe on Svc 178, 187 and 980.
Why the change in deployment?
Obvious reason is "Election coming"
Helping PAP putting up a good show in Bt Panjang area! -

Perm Buses
TIB638T - 921
TIB541M - 920
TIB725A - 920 -
TIB1248D - TIB1253M used to cameo around Bt Panjang, but now cameoing mostly on 178, sometimes on 187.
TIB1254K an original bus on the WL SS 980, but sometimes also cameo on 178 and 187.
TIB1255H & TIB1256E are AMK spare Buses, always cameoing around on 852, 853, 855, 980...
Still remember TIB1254K - TIB1256E (tat time all Nissan CACs were under WL) were made perm buses on 980 last year btw March to June last year , but TIB1255H and TIB1256E were taken over by TIB929D and TIB1257C 
when 2 of 980's duties transfer to AMK. (TIB1255H and TIB1256E were also transferred back to AMK as spares) -

Me too, I also don't really like those Nissans on 980. Don't worry anyway, vivienlee. There are also some Dennis Lance buses that plies on 980.

Yeah, I stay along the upp thomson area. Remember tat last time used to be lots of NISSANs on 167 along the area, sometimes on 980. At one time the Nissans were withdrawn from 167, but went on 980 instead. The depot crew must be biased against 980 instead

i really like the umw dennis lance 245 buses on 167 and 980.hopefully smrt will not replace the umw dennis lance 245 buses on 167 and 980 with other models.

Actually Dennis Lance buses are ok to me, I dun like the Nissan cameos
However I still look forward to bendy bus rides on sv980 during weekends -
i will definitely like to see bendies on 980 and 167 not some but all on 167 and 980 though i know it is not quite possible .the pair of bus stops at admiralty drive near 351D ,the barriers are being removed those that prevent the cars eg from driving into the bus stops.also there are digging going on think smrt are building bus shelter at the bus stops i mention.wonder what bus service will ply there?presently only NR2 ply the bus stop near 351D.or they are building the bus shelter for NR2?Originally posted by vivienlee:How about replacing some of them with bendies??

It has been a fact that sv 980 under WL control have been using CSS CAC cameos every weekdays and sat. (Similar case to BP feeders 920 and 921 in the past).
Anybody gotta any feedback and comments??
(CSS189D, CSS190Z and CSS192T: Pls get out from 980 . I want my TIB658K, TIB665P and TIB673R back
