Service 900 will be operated as Service 900A during the period of operation mentioned, after which it will be reverted back to operate as Service 900. Please note that Service 900A will not operate on sch holidays and public holidays. -

Award Of Contract For Widening Of Telok Paku Road And Nicoll Drive
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is pleased to announce the award of the contract for the widening of Telok Paku Road and Nicoll Drive to Chan & Chan Construction Pte Ltd.
The contract, worth S$9.41 million, involves the widening of Telok Paku Road and Nicoll Drive from an undivided dual one-lane carriageway to a dual two-lane carriageway, and the construction of a new vehicular bridge over Changi Creek. The stretch of Telok Paku Road, from the existing vehicular bridge to Nicoll Drive, will also be converted to a one-way road to serve park users.
The road widening project aims to cater to the increased traffic volume due to developments along Nicoll Drive, such as the Changi Cargo Complexes and Airport Logistics Park of Singapore.
When the project is completed in the second quarter of 2008, motorists travelling along Telok Paku Road and Nicoll Drive will enjoy smoother traffic flow.

A reference letter to resident living along Jurong West St 63.
To carry out the works, the cranes and trailers have to be placed on the road along Jurong West St 63 between the junction of Jurong West St 64 & St 65. This road which heads towards Pioneer Rd Nth will be closed from 12am to 5am between 12 June 2006 (Monday) and 26 June 2006 (Monday). We seek your understanding that the works can only be done after the operating hours of the MRT system. The bus services & the traffic capacity at these areas will not be affected. -

The existing Boon Lay Interchange will be closed for renovation from this Sunday, 18 June 2006 and all operations will be shifted to a temporary interchange located near the junction of Jurong West Street 64 and Boon Lay Way.
The temporary Boon Lay Interchange is linked to the Boon Lay MRT station and caters to 30 bus services. SBS Transit bus services that operate from the temporary Boon Lay Interchange are Service 30, 79, 154, 157, 174, 174e, 179, 181, 182, 192, 193, 194, 198, 199, 240, 242, 243W, 243G, 246, 249, 251, 252, 254, 255, 257 and 405. The rest of the bus services are operated by another bus operator.
The new permanent Boon Lay Interchange is targeted to be ready by 2009. -

Traffic Arrangements for Fireworks Rehearsal
There will be road closures affecting traffic on Friday, 16 June 2006 in the vicinity of the National Stadium during the fireworks rehearsal for National Day Parade.
The 4 roads listed below will be closed to all vehicular traffic between 9.25 p.m. to 9.45 pm. Access to the road closure area will only be granted to police, military, emergency and labeled vehicles. No other vehicles will be granted access.
a. Mountbatten Road (between Stadium Boulevard and Nicoll Highway) carriageway towards Sims Way
b. Nicoll Highway (between Mountbatten Rd and Stadium Road) <- DDs take note!
c. Stadium Drive (between Nicoll Highway and Stadium Walk)
d. Stadium Walk
e. Stadium Boulevard (between Stadium Drive and Kallang Squash Centre)
The road closure plan and traffic diversion scheme are reflected in Annex A. Public buses traveling into the vicinity of National Stadium will also be diverted.
Motorist intending to proceed towards the city area from the eastern and western parts of the island are advised to use the following alternative routes:
a. Eastern Part - via ECP/PIE/CTE
b. Western Part - via AYE/ECP/CTE/PIE
Traffic Police will be stationed at all affected road junctions to regulate traffic and assist motorists. We seek the co-operation of all the motorists to comply with the traffic arrangements so that inconvenience to all can be minimized. -
