Fully loaded buses

  I wonder is there any SOP with regards to closing of entrance door and moving off when the bus is fully loaded?
  
  Some BCs are good, they apply the handbrake and stands up to make sure no one will be hit by the opening/ closing door when the door opens/ closes.
  
  Some they dun bother, when passengers tries to move, w/o warning, they starts moving at slow speed or just closes the door

  Sv21/60 during PM peak hour 100% full la, then if u take at Blk 18 there, u cant 4get about taking Sv60 and wait for like 40mins for one Sv60A if you really despo for Sv60. For Sv21, they always stop there one but they dun oways open the door and let people board the bus.

  I'll tell you one interesting thing about this topic. Everyday, I go to school, I take Service 74 SBS 7275 D at about 7.05 am. When this bus is reaching a particular bus stop, the driver immediately opens the door even the bus hasn't stop yet. When I'm boarding and alighting the bus, I love to hop on the moving bus or jump down the moving bus. Maybe the driver is trying to save the journey time; as the driver must wait for the bus to be fully stop and then open the door, that would waste a few seconds of the time.

  today at around 2plus PM onwards...Punggol Rd bus stop was flooded with students going to Tampines...all flooded 27 88 89....I have to take 27 from Punngol rd to HG Ctrl Int then take 27 back to Tampines as every 27 which are going towards CGA didn stop at Punngol Rd at all.The students are having something on at Temasek Poly.. After i take 27 until Tampines Ave 5(Blk 147)..and wanted to transfer 15 , it was floodedwith students from same school..suspect students taking 88 and 89 then transfer to 15.

  Anyway, those good BCs ends up the ones that would ask passengers to move in and squeeze a bit more... Surprising they drive NAC buses... Those driving aircon buses are often the one bo chap bo yeow

  So far never encountered in the past few years(Cos Sv60's BC rarely got new ones, same as Sv21)

  Yep... Same for the 179 pro drivers... There was once, when one of them drove 1888A, and forgot to close the rear door until he had reached the last stop on Jurong West St 64 from BNL...
  
  I have noticed the SMRT Habits and ELBO Scanias are able to drive with doors open as well! No door interlock?

  SBS buses, those NAC SDs and DM3500 have rear door chime to remind BC... Why SMRT is not even condidering this?

  Some of the WA NAC MK2 door can never be closed unless the BC moves the bus a little

  i also like to do this. and interestingly, i nvr lose ground and fall.

  One of the dennis lance on Sv 965 have its back doors opened too, seen it a couple of months ago, but if I'm not wrong, it is TIB1013P.

  Anyway, always the pampered svs getting this kind of BC... Drive aircon buses song song, bo chap attitude.. Why? Cos these pampered svs most have buses brunching, so if he see ppl have prob boarding (Though there's lots of spaces behind) he will just close the door... Tell you go board the next bus. I suggest SBS deploys NAC buses, this kind of attitude BC dun deserve the driving comfort.
