Accident or bus break down thread (Apr to Jun 2006)

  I was in bus sv 59 along Bedok Reservior Rd junction Bedok North Ave 3. I saw sv 21 SBS 7306 Z B9TL Volvo bus accident for smashing windowscreen front about 8am on 4th July. SBS 7306Z is travel toward Pasir Ris.

  5th July 2006 Morning Latest New
  
  Unidentified VO3X (SV 168 ), broke down at 8 am on SLE (lentor flyover towards tampines).
  
  more than 80 passengers were standing on the shoulder of the flyover
  Right behind was another MK IV DM3500 SV 168, but it cant pick up all the passengers cos it is already very full.
  
  A LO3x came and pick up all the passengers in around 10 mins time.

  SBS 9347S (HG 87)
  
  I boarded SBS 9347S (HG 87) along Hougang Ave 3 going towards Sengkang Int. When the bus arrive at the junction of Tampines Rd/ Hougang Ave 7, the bus took a extra long time to negotiate the turn. Caused a 5 min delay there and at this time i saw the new B9TL going towards HG depot. Bus eventually brokedown at Hougang Ave 5 with steering failure caused by the overheated engine. Green coolant fluid dripped out from the back of the bus and BC issued compimentary tix.

  i was on TIB1050G of S172 frm Opp. CDA towards Boon Lay Int.. upon reaching the junction of boon lay way and jln boon lay, the trailer began to shake vigorously and the bus sort of couldnt accelerate much and kept shaking. SC gave up at entrance to ORIGINAL boon lay int and let all the passengers off.
