Been hearing that Sv 8 buses arrives Int as early as 10 mins bef schedule even during peak hrs.
The sv is famous for slow moving buses making cars behind to slow down -
how about 65? since this svc does not have any perm striders?

The BC very eng one, drive slowly waste everyone's time and can whistle while driving.. Yet other svs have prob getting on time with these buses around -
All SMRT KJ operated services - the depot dun have any old Nissan Buses, hence all KJ services enjoying using better buses, no probability of having Nissan cameos. Some services from KJ should deserve old Nissan buses
WL buses like 178, 187 and 981 always struggling with lots of old Nissan buses. AMK like 852, 853, 855 and 980 always receiving those Nissan cameos
SMRT should spread out their old Nissan buses to KJ too, instead of consolidating all the old buses at WL -

Talking about the Nissan , I do like the interior , only for the OAC ones. But for the CAC really too hot inside and ppl will be enjoying the hotness instead.
DAF is better in exterior.
KJ = DAF and Hino
WL = Scania and Nissan
AM = Nissan and Dennis Lance
All depots have MB 0405 , 0405G Hispano Batch 1 , 2 and Habit
Expect the Volgren Bendy which is fully based in WLDEP. -

It's not right that buses arrive early and (defintely like this) no where to park and make passengers wait.
Too frequent liao lah Sv 8, has other alt svs along the way, I think they are manipulating the deployment to Sv 8's benefit. End up 2-3 empty ADD arrive together somemore... White elephant's
Arrive early can reduce 2-4 buses already, the brunching, can just replace with 2 SD deployment... Wasting farepayers money -

But I think something needs to change, BC are to tap their card ONCE they arrive the interchange be it early or on time. If not, this prob will continue to stay there -

When on a Merc 0405 or Daf, you dont feel the irritating humps along Bt Batok St 52!
but when it comes to a Hino! its rubbish!
beautiful body but useless suspension...
Daf is also less noisier than the Hinos
Overall, Daf is better than the Hino
Daf - better suspension, quiter engine
Hino- dumb suspensions, noisier growling engine
Nissans- stupid suspension, stupid engine

Svc 98 borrowed Svc 66's berth. Sometimes 66 borrows 98's berth.
197 sometimes borrows 66's berth and vice-versa. Svc 79 doesn't have such problem.
Svc 160 always got overflow at the empty parking lot after 105 berth. 51 and 105 also use the overflow area.

Seriously, arrive early by 2-3 mins still ok, but not until 10 mins -
haha.. that time got nearly 8 of 160 at J east..
also, sv33 also too many buses at bedok.. presumbly due to frequency differences.. cos from bedok is longer frequency than kent ridge in late afternoon
