Wrote a 600+ words complain to SBST
about Service 151.
1) Bunching - 3 Service 151 buses bunching at night, i wonder how many hours will the other passengers have to wait
2) Inconsiderate BC wasting me n other pax's time so much that 2 other Sv151 caught pass while 1 other SBST buses cut past, hence wasting 1/2 hour of my time -
Most 174 buses nowadays their air conditioner got some problem. They are nt giving out cool air but warm air out frm the air con outlet. Especially during the afternoon.
Buses like:
SBS219M SBS227P SBS236M SBS252R SBS413T SBS484M SBS560B . -
Yes, I agree with that comment, it's not only 174 though... I notice it's normally those in SLBP with Fuji A/C that give out warm air... It would be ok to say that most MB0405s have this problem also, besides the CAC ones. The CAC ones are still quite alright... The best are obviously those Sutrak ones, followed by Webasto (I think) (the A/C which looks like a rounded version of the Sutrak with 5 fans mounted in a straight line).Originally posted by SBS3625D:It would be ok to say that most MB0405s have this problem also, besides the CAC ones. The worse ones are by Denso (?), the one with only 2 vents on either side, with 4 fans mounted in a straight line on top.
But it's still ok, especially when compared to SMRT'S ELBO and CAC Nissans! -

...had to wait about 40+mins for it, and in that time there were 4 sv.54s, 4 sv.13s, a few sv.52s, 3 sv.55s, 5 sv.88s... -

SMRT's Nissan Diesel buses on important high loaded service is just as bad as using SBST's scanias on important services like service 7. It's an absolute disgrace. I take 33 every day , the scanias are absolutely HORRIBLE. Lousy aircon ( the 36XX or 37XX are ok) , lousy braking , lousy suspension and shaky engines . How can SBST continue to operate this bus ? SMRT's Converted Scanias and Nissan Diesel as well. Horrible Air con . We pay more for price fare and they dont do anything about it? I already complained ( 33 is the only bus svc to my area , i guess you know where I stay ) . They say they will look into it , nothing happens. At least the Nissan Diesel's original aircon , you can feel the aircon even though the bus is slow.
SBST's Scanias + SMRT's Nissan Diesel + SMRT's Scania Converted aircon = HORRIBLE . -

i presume you're sitting at the back of the n113. At Commonwealth Avenue West/Commonwealth Avenue/North Buona Vista Road
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is pleased to announce the award of the contract for the upgrading of the junction at Commonwealth Avenue West/Commonwealth Avenue/North Buona Vista Road, to Feng Ming Construction Pte Ltd.
The contract, worth S$1.2 million, involves the widening of Commonwealth Avenue West, between Ghim Moh Road and North Buona Vista Road, by an additional lane in each direction.
The project serves to cater to the increased traffic volume along Commonwealth Avenue West and North Buona Vista Road, with the development of One-North nearby.
The project, when completed in the second quarter of 2007, will help to alleviate traffic congestion along Commonwealth Avenue West and North Buona Vista Road.
