Took SBS 1775 S today (Sv66). There were obvious signs that the bus was going to breakdown like start up problems after stopping everytime yet this ignorant and irritating BC still decided to carry on driving. In the end, i missed SBS 9888 Y due to him

THat's nothing either. 109 has a frequency of 25-30min during AM peak hour. I've been late on 3 occasions. Miss 1825G at 0650 = taking 955X at 0720, confirm die one. Some-more the bus erratic, can come at 0645 or 0710, dunno what the BC want. On one occasion, 1825G never turned up at all, probably broke down (MKII SUCKS!), and what is this?! 732Y turned up at 0720 fully loaded, pax all cannot board, then late again lor.

i was at the bus top at Mountbatten Rd[opp Maryland Park] & one pax waited from 1900 hrs till 1935hrs for sv10 to appear! it's the same pattern ev 3 days or so, wrote to SBSt but never reply... v strange... -

i been taking smrt167 a lot ,it seems to take very long to come.if you miss one bus,the next bus will come at 17mins later

What if SMRT decide to deploy full fleet Nissan Diesel on 980 ? Don't be shock hor ! I was talking to a SMRT friend (driver) , this scenerio may be a possibility in the future when SMRT decides to introduce new services.

Ill timing for Service 106, TIB1158E
I do not consider this as a complain, but just a sharing of some abnormal passenger flow on the morning of 1st August 2006.
When I reached the bus stop in front of Yusoff Ishak Sec Sch, I missed a service 106 bus (TIB1177A). The time was 0723hrs.
Considering the peak hours timing, the next bus to arrive at the stop should be at 0728hrs (and according to my records as well). However, the bus did not arrive until 0734hrs, by then the bus was packed 101 percent (the front stairwell was packed). I managed to board, so as the other commuters at that stop. The next stop at Burgundy Hill, the BC did not turn into the bus bay as the bus was already 102 percent full.
More commuters alighted at the Ulu Pandan Refuse Incineration Plant, and the bus was then 98 percent full.
The bus left Clementi MRT bus stop with 100 percent capacity, and at the stop in front of Block 365, more commuters tried to squeeze on board (this stop have more commuters than any other previous stops). Some alighted, and the bus left the stop at 102 percent capacity again.
The next stop was opposite the Schol of Info-comm Technology, and a fellow schoolmate who wanted to alight was not able to do so as the doors closed too soon. I tried to press the bell again for the bus to stop, but the bell would not ring and the bus accelerated out of the stop. I then commented to fellow commuters that if the bus companies do not increase the frequency and improve the service standards, they do not stand a reason to increase the fares, and many of them agreed with me. Some even agreed to complain.
This was the worse morning ride I have on Service 106 since April, and I do not hope to see this happening to any other people again. Bus companies (SBS Transit and SMRT alike) should listen to commuters' comments and do appropriate adjustments to their services. -

From my friends & I past experience on crowded bus :
1. Some SMRT svcs will have their scheduled timings revised over a peroid of time. My friends take bus A & transfer bus B to work but bus B comes aft every 3 bus A have passed the bus stop. Once the bus A arrives at other timing & when my friend to bus A to that bus stop, bus B has already move off so he need to wait quite some time for bus B. 
2. Always press the bell & move to the exit early if you alighted at the next bus stop. Missed bus stops for countless times due to inconsiderate ppl who refused to move in to the rear of the bus.
3. Always plan your journey even you know the bus will arrived on time & not fully packed. Accidents/breakdowns/heavy rain/irregular human flow/traffic jams are some of the main causes for buses to arrive late/full packed
4. Stop pushing all the faults to the bus companies & saying immature comments that bus companies listen to commuters' unnecessary/inappropriate comments to do adjustments to their services. Bus driver drives throughout the days, concerns about the safety/well being of everyone onboard, entertains different types of passengers, ensures the bus journey is smooth & so on... 
Lastly, have you think about the effects of you thoughts???
Note : My friends graduated in Diploma in Quality Management Engineering.

brotherchen1982, I am not trying to complain here. As indicated in my first sentence, I am trying to share this experience. I did not try to instigate the passengers into complaining with me, but rather I am just sharing my ideas with them. I have never thought of complaining at this jucture because I could simply wake up earlier and catch the 0723hrs bus. Neither did I miss it intentionally.
If you are trying to make me reflect on myself trying to complain, then you might be wrong. However, it is true that bus companies and all companies alike would like to 'save their face' and try to give vague feedbacks to passengers who merely wanted to comment, not complain, on their service. This 'save the face' replies are particularly persistent in Asians, as Westeners are more open in mind, however, racial and ethnical values do stand.
You would not be able to find a rego of a bus that crashed on that company's website, would you. Same case here, would a company truely and sincerely apologise to the customer and say that they are wrong? Definitely not! They would just utilise their public relations and say that they will improve, that such incidents/accidents would not happen again. Whether they happen again we all can see to that.
Hence I would apologise if I offended anyone, but I do truely mean what I write, for I do not stand in the point of a profit-making company. -

Today about 7.40 PM wanted to take Sv151. The Sv151 stopped behind Sv66, my friend and i flag the bus, the BC dowan open and drove in front, when the bus reach the bus bay, the BC dint want to wait for us and moved off. We indicated to the BC we want to board but he dint care. F him. SBS 1844 E
In the end have to wait 10 more mins and came NAC MK2 WA -
recently the frequency of 153 from bukit merah to hougang(after 10pm) seems to have decreased from 3per hr to 2per... its ridiculous... fares increase but frequency decrease...
