902 last bus extended till 0900
the interval of 10 mins has been ignored lately
saw someone board 902 from RP to WDL
(but its a one-direction)
and Boon Lay and 179 seriously has got no link to 902...
nevermind, since you all are doing so...
178 deserves Nissans.
Boon Lay Int (near the office) reeks of the toilet aroma.
181 definitely has proved its worth and has long pass the trial period.
but 68 is a dumb service.
CITIBUZZ is a total waste. SBST has big ego and jus wana show off the buses to tourists and do not mind losing money from those services... -
another update on the third day for this service...
the last bus timing has been changed once more.
1st day
0730 - 0830
2nd day
0730 - 0900
3rd day
0730 - 0840 -
looks like SMRT is changing the last bus departure regularly within 3 days...

that estate is so big but only a small bus calling every 40 minutes, and till now theres no sign of improvement suggest something

Let me tell you what I find wrong with A$$-M-MATI:
• Wasteful - spending thousands of dollars on totally illegible EDSes that spoil easily when cheap plastic plates, like what SBS Transit use on almost all of their buses, could have served their purpose. And they actually spent money on those completely dumb pink uniforms (pink for men - YUCK!) and to make their disgusting new livery (described as blood + bird poop by some foreigners in a chat room when I described to them the colours used) as high-quality as possible on those rotten buses (look carefully!), and to buy those PINIFARINA-designed, beautifully useless buses...
• Cheap (but not on the fares side, unfournately) - to get more buses, they got all but one route of their extremely useful C$$ routes withdrawn, and then get those dirty, creaky, old, sweaty, cramped, and completely ROTTEN buses to toture those living in Sembawang (routes 167, 980, 981), Woodlands (routes 178, 187), Bukit Panjang (routes 920, 921), and Yishun (routes 851, 852, 853, 855), while they pay AIR-CON fares for NON-AIR-CON buses to keep up their image (FULL FLEET OF AIR-CON BUSES!!! By the way they collect fares, it is...) (at least SBS Transit charge non air-con fares when you take a non air-con bus...). And the way they convert non air-conditioned buses to air-conditioned buses is:
The Pininfarina-designed Habit Buses were introduced by TIBS, not SMRT. The bodywork is nowhere more expensive than the normal ones. The Habit Body is a product of BOTH Pininfarina design house and Hispano Carrocera.
By using the CSS UDs, they are just maximising the usage of the buses. It would be wasteful not to use them, get new buses and later on fare hikes again.
Until then, I'm not surprised to see you complain again. -

187 - at least have mixture of modern bendy buses and a number of Nissan cameos appearing very frequently. Service not very good too

920 - no longer uses Nissan cameos, now revert to original buses (TIB541M, TIB725A and TIB967T). Service standard improved
921 - now using Bus Plus. Service standard improved
Sembawang
167 - once a while have 1 Nissan cameo. Quite OK
980 - the WL S-Shift bus using Nissan as original but do have MB0405 or Scanias cameoing on it once a while. Also do have 1 or 2 other Nissan cameos from AMK. Not so bad as this bus service also do have bendy cameos too
981 - a peak hours service with all 3 Nissan OAC Buses
Yishun
851 - normally uses MB0405 and Habit, also have 3 Dennis Lance buses (TIB1012S, TIB1017D and TIB1018B). Nissans on 851 is considered rare . Quite ok
852/855 - dun have any Nissan originals however do have 1 or 2 Nissan cameos quite often. Considered average
853 - have one original Nissan on one of the S-Shifts (TIB377X), do have a number of other Nissan cameos quite often too. Also considered as one of the worst service from AMK, however as compared to WL 178 it is still a better SMRT service -

Sometimes, I think increasing the frequency will improve the demand... E.g. at Jurong East, 198 comes much more frequent than 178 to BNL... so I almost always take 198 although 178 is faster by about 5min... But waiting time is already 20min...
Same at BB... Sometimes, if I want quick sleep, I will take 178 or 157 to BNL... But 178 frequency is just too long... -
