Hearing there's buses which SBS staff wrote this message in chinese onboard the bus using marker pen...
Anyone seen it? -
Not me yet. But those at the back tend to keep lots of space to themselves. Or we should make their invisible friends pay fares too.

To think SBS still deploy more buses to these svs -

Some svs I have seen, passengers are quite cooperative
It's usually the non aircon buses, sadly
Aircon buses, driver wun talk, no messages and passengers will just stay near the exit door
Cos SBS give special treatment and deploy more aircon buses -
there also passengers like to sit on the outer. when boarding passenger wants take the inner seat, the one on the outer seat give a 'kiam lui' face.

Erm, didn't notice the marker writing by the BCs yet but I personally think that the reason why the commuters dun want to move to the rear is because they are afraid that they can't get to alight @ their desired bus stop when the bus is packed like sardines & that also applies to why commuters like to sit on the outer seats & not next to the window seats...
Buses manufacturers should have expanded their standing area so that commuters can move around & alight easily...

You see Svs like 90, 91, 94, 151, 200, ppl will simply move in
Sometimes I do feel it's because it's NAC buses, so ppl wanna get to the destination fast
Other svs, some BC are the troublemakers.. Tell you there's another bus behind and so they cannot be bothered to ask passengers to move in. Some just start moving slowly when ppl are trying to move -
not forgetting there are people who simply stare at the BC even after the BC asked them to move in.

think since they have TVmobile, they could also install the voice message and play it when needed.
Something like, "Please move to the rear seats, thankyou" in all 4 LANGUAGES.
Or something more embarassing for those who dont move in, a voice message can be played like " Please move to the rear seats, thank you. If you dont, you are downright inconsiderate".
For chinese, "Ching yi xiang ba shi hou zuo, xie xie. (Addition) (Bu yao dang zhu bie ren er "xia suay" zhi ji).

one reason i don't like to seat at the back of buses except for AC DDs, the seats are hot. AC DDs have their aircon strongest at the beck and scania 113 strongest near the front especially behind the drivers seat. If no choice i'll sit at the back lah. Another reason y ppl don't sit at the back because some 'low IQ ppl' sit the the middle of the back seat and make heck care face. Ppl want to move in he ignore and sometimesa they talk on their HPs scold so loud and all the words comming out.
