What buses to take to macritchie reservoir from bedok?

How do I take bus from bedok to macritchie reservoir?
Since there are no direct buses from bedok, I thought of 2 routes. First is to take 28/26 to toa payoh then take 157 to the reservoir.
Second route is to take 25/854 to hougang area, then switch to 74 or 165(?).
Which of the 2 routes is faster?
Or, are there any faster ways? -

or take 25/854 to eunos and change to SV 93 also... -

i'll go cook one up. go thru the usualk procedures it'll be out by aug 06

Take Sv 24 or 28, alight at Upp Paya Lebar Rd, transfer to Sv 93.
This took about 45 minutes to reach there. -

Interesting. Take Sv93 NO MATTER WHAT(dun go to Toa Payoh and rot, i tried a lot of times) to Eunos Link to change to Sv25/87/854
