  No. Sv 190 was BBDEP bus back then. So a lot of Double decks than single decks

  Sv 190 also used LAs, OF1417s & Mk IIs. I believe that SBS Nissan buses were used on 190 long time ago.

  until 1992, Sv 190 uses 0405s DMs when those volvo mk 3 and 4 were not on the roads yet

  AFAIK, No. That was in Jul99. The 190 route only changes when the LRT opened in Nov1999.

  sorry but was 188 around then? i dun seem to remember sbs188... was the route the same den?
  realli miss those sbs daes... i prefer those buses den the smrt ones todae...air con damn bad.. too cold in the morning and too hot in the afternoon

  190 originally from Bukit Panjang to New Bridge Rd. In 1992 , It was extended to CCK after CCK Int was opened.

  Yes. 188 was around at that time. 188 use LO2X before.

  Service 190 in the 1980s used Albion Vikings and Volvo B57s.
  
  Somewhere in 1989-1990, the Volvo MK2s (WA Body) were also newly introduced to this service. Albion Vikings were then phased out.
  
  MB0405 OACs were then introduced to service 190 when it was converted to a PAC service in 1992.
  
  Volvo MK3s later replaced the MB0405s in 1993. Double Deckers LA2x were also introduced due to popular demand, followed by LO3x.
  
  In 1994-1995, VO2x and VO3x replaced the Leyland buses. Some Volvo MK4s were also introduced.
  
  In 1998, service 190 was converted to a FAC service, hence VO2x and MK2s were removed from this service.
  
  For those days, 190 was operated with a mixture of MK3s, Striders and VO3x. Not sure whether MK2 CAC buses were used too ??
  
  Service 190 was then handed over to Tibs in 1999. Tibs used MB0405 and MB0405Gs from then.
