Did 185 ply from Choa Chu Kang Int -> Jln Anak Bt all the while?

185 used to ply from CCK to Shenton Way via Farrer Rd in the beginning days. It was shortened to loop at Jln Anak Bt when 186 was introduced between Shenton Way and Farrer Rd somewhere in 1993. Anyway, 985 has good ridership. however, did 989 has good ridership between CCK and Jln Toa Payoh or poor ridership throughout the Express section? -

Sv 185 maintain the CCK-Jln Anak Bt portion whereas sv 186 took the former 185 Shenton Way-Farrer Rd portion

The only change to it that i know off is that it used to ply along
Bukit Batok East Ave 4 (173, 177, 963) instead of the current
BB East Ave 2 (122, 365, 945, 185, 985, NR8, NR17)... haha.. -

Service 185 got no route change till 2003, except that Tibs took over this service in 1999. In 2003, service 185 extended to Geylang and remaned 985.
Somehow, services 186 and 985 get to "see" each other along Whitley Rd in between their journeys too -

i remember last time the bus stops at Bt.Timah Rd still had the sv.77 on the SBS sign blocked out.

I only know that the both buses deploys on 167 850 852 950, according to the "service 852" thread. -

Yeah, agreed. Especially for services 82 and 103, SBS wanna show off "SBS is here to serve you better" and converted these 2 services to FAC services after snatching back from Tibs in 1999.Originally posted by 105090:disgusting.

6 services are originally SBS's before
all 8 services routes are either amended heavily/ merged/ withdrawn. non has their original routes.
82/ 103: cut to Serangoon
163: Sengkang
820/ 821: merge with 103
864: merge with 80
865: withdrawn
866: renumbered/ amended
And now the outcome: Quietly reverted back to PAC services, NAC MK2s were used
Seems that "SBS is here to serve you WORSE" as in 2006
Could have been a perm FAC service if these 2 buses are still under Tibs/SMRT today, like services 167, 171, 852, 853, 980 etc. -
