SBS 315T in 242

Hi, MS, then i suggest to let SBS315T to serve part time. Means serving 242 in the morning to evening then let it serve EBXX. Some bus engine that are gd like SBS 3783E or SBS3863H could serve whole day even the night as they are less noise in the night. Thanks..

Look, its just a little more noise. Have you been to my house?! 9178M, prior to its current disappearence from 88,(to be repaired I hope), it sounded like a kettle and could be heard more than 100m away! Have you heard 9889U also? It bellows like a bull full of testosterone, has disappeared from svc also! Wanna try 9091D, 9159T? Their brakes will wake the dead up! Or have you heard 2756R which roars like a bear at very high rpm? You will wish you had not created this thread! Or have you heard some of the tridents including 9671E, 9672C and a few others before they were repaired? For what I learnt, removing the differential unit of a vehicle requires lots of time as you need to remove everything connected to differential unit bef you remove it from the vehicle.Originally posted by MS:No. To be exact, it should be called a differential unit. FYI, I hear LO3xs, MB O405s, Mk 2, Mk 4, VO2xs & VO3xs engines roaring when they are going back to Soon Lee Bus Park even past midnight EVERDAY but I just bear with it...

539P is badly maintained... If you sit at the front, you hear all sorts of funny noises like loose screws and panels...
