Why buses are still dirty during election?

Does the transportation authority upkeep their money makers?
Will buses and mrts be clean only just before their price hikes?
Any party going to address this during this election?
Even taxidrivers wash their taxi once a week, shouldn't bus companies and mrts' do the same?
i am saying this because l'm sick of sitting in dust filled buses and stained mrts -

Are you referring to SMRT Buses? Or SBS Transit..which is unlikely..

clean once per week will surely increase the increased price hike. You as a passengers should not litter in the bus. yes i agree SMRT buses are more dirty, SBST have most of their drivers sweeping their buses before picking up their passengers.

Well theres an exception, i can almost confirm that TIB1218 on Svc812 is the Cleanest bus in singapore.
Maybe the drvier cleans his bus very often... even the wheel rims is exceptionally clean (no not just repainted) -

I dont see the link of Election and the state of buses ?? Are you tryin to say that you will only clean your house when people are visting your place ? Oh Please.. if you are sick of it.. take a cab.. nobody force you onto the buses.. Since you feels that the Cabs are cleaner than the buses.. go ahead.. take a cab.. Hmmm, i took the cng a few times but...NO its not as clean.
Theres just some freaking dirt on the floor...
Maybe those living ard yishun area can try hunt the bus down..the u'll know what i mean... i dont know exactly how "clean" the seats are but u'll hardly find any dirt on the vehicle though i seldom take it...
Anyway its just my opinion, if u dun agree on it then go hunt the bus down and rate for urself... -

buses are dirty all year round. it is because of people who eat, drink, litter irresponsibly and expect the cleaners to clean up. it is basically because people do not play a part in keeping the buses clean. so, if you don't like the state of the buses now, be responsible.don't complain here...it ain't gonna do any good cos as said before, we are not the bus companies.Originally posted by crispylips:Does the transportation authority upkeep their money makers?
