Which bus goes to Katong from Yishun or YCK?

  Is there any bus which goes to Katong or Amber Road from Yishun or YCK bus interchange?
  
  I know there is bus 76 but I took it before and the trip was excruciating
  
  I saw one tibs bus which passes by yishun and it goes to marine parade. What number is it?
  
  Is it faster than 76?
  
  Or are there other methods from yishun or yck ?

  the tibs bus u mentioned is 853. and yes, only on weekends then it goes to katong and marine parade.
  
  travel time wise is still the same.

  U can take a MRT to Woodlands and transfer to 966

  Try taking service 857 from Yishun, transfer to service 966 along Jln Toa Payoh outside St. Andrew's Sch. It will be much faster

  No matter what, dont take 76 from Yio Chu Kang,very very long, take MRT down to Toa Payoh then change to 31 or take bus to Jln Toa Payoh to change 966

  Try tis combo: sv854 to Eunos tfr to sv15 to Marine Parade Rd or sv55 twds Victoria JC.
  Max time 45mins...
  sv854 passes YCK & YISH
  If u take in the nite aft 9/10 total travel time smetimes including waiting 40mins...i took b4 for quite a number of times...

  Sv854 can also change to Sv966, but dont take Sv15 if got 55, cos 15 much slower than 55.
