Should Express Services Use Volvo B10M Mark IV or O405?

like 502 using 0405 buses but 518 uses Volvo B10M Mark IV buses.

Don't forget that our SBS2888T is on 518 .....
SBS2888T is a Scania L94UB -
An obvious question you know. For me, the newer buses the better, Volvo Mk4s.

Express 502 uses 16 MB O405
Express 506 uses 11 Mark IV(all Striders) + some Mk III cameos
Express 518 uses 1 Mark III, 6 Mark IVs(2 DMs/3 Striders/1 DM3500) & 1 Scania L94UB -

Yeah brotherchen is correct. All buses are still buses, they can run on roads. Even UD was on 965 before, wonder how it climb to Woodlands but it still completed it's day. Your point in question mean? Should 518 use merc? Or should 502 use Volvo? Or 506 to use ......? -

2. It is a good combination of express502 using 0405s......they have fast acceleration. As for 518, I think it would be better if they use mk4 striders/dm3500s/dms................(use demonstrators i.e. 2888 if during peak hr "A" routes.......)
506.......I think it should continue with mk4s.....but maybe better if deploy less buses during off peak..........due to its generally poor ridership........... -

i only can say Express buses should use single deck thats all! because it move faster than double deckers.
also, maybe merc shouldnt be on express, because more people have to stand. not comfortable -
