For 63 I personally won't want it to stop at Rumah Tinggi also, LOL. there are ppl taking from jln rumah tinggi... can like st michael est or serangoon gdn circus also... serve twice... but extending to buona vista, ghim moh or even kent ridge not a good idea

.. but so long already no new services introduced.. because of red tape right or any other internal reasons....?
anyway, kinda obvious buses which ply very long stretchs of expressway and serving low density areas are quite empty.. like 85?
some people are also suggesting buses going by sungei tengah to KJE all the way to changi airport.. thats nuts right?

in any case, during peak hrs, 969 wud already be packed to the front door frm the int. -
I think I said this before somewhere. In this case, 969 will need to use "MRT" already, bendies also cannot cope during peak hours.

yes you have to realise you arent the only one living in Tampines here.
969 is to be left untouched.
and you do not question why people need to go places. -
969 and 168 are the more successful buses, as compared to 39 85 161 965..
anyone knows whether 969 ever used a different route to enter tampines or call at any stops within tampines?

heard once that a S969 stopped at the never-used-before bus stop outside SunPlaza Pk coz someone pressed the bell just as it exited the expway towards Tampines Int?
S161 load quite okay. S161 and S168 like to come out of WDL Int together. likewise for S67/969 in tampines. -
Seems that recently Sv168's frequency is very good(Take tonight as example). I sat at Tam Ave 4 and every 27 come then got 1 168 come (Observe about 20+ mins only)

saw another at Ave 7/9 junction.

How's about:
Kent Ridge Terminal, Clementi Road, Commonwealth Ave West, Dover Station, Commonwealth Ave, Holland Avenue, Holland Road, North Buona Vista Road, Commonwealth Ave West, Dover Station, Clementi Road, Kent Ridge Terminal.
Benefits: 1. linkage between NUS and Dover Station. 2. bus to Dover Station from Holland Ave and Holland Road. 3. faster link between Kent Ridge and Holland Village.
Alternatively,
Kent Ridge Terminal, Clementi Road, Commonwealth Ave West, Dover Station, Commonwealth Ave, Holland Avenue, Holland Road, Napier Road, Tanglin Road, Orchard Road, Dhobby Ghaut,(not familiar with those names), City Hall, Shenton Way Terminal.
Benefits: 1. SBST could alleviate the passenger loads and long waiting time for SMRT106. 2. SBST could snatch passengers (at SP and Holland V) away from SMRT106. 3. SP, Dover, Ghim Moh, Holland passengers/residents have alternative to SMRT106 to Orchard and Town. -
i wrote in before in 2004 about the dover-NUS route, it didn't work out then.
