yes, totally agreedOriginally posted by carbikebus:SBST are not going to introduced feeder nor town link services again,It's short haul trunk services ala 181
I believe S68 can use 2 buses during peak hours if they called up at those 4 bus stopsOriginally posted by davidchua123:yes, totally agreedservice 68 is good example, stage 8 only n company direct to skip 4 bus stops some more.

The loads for 981 to be put on 962 during peak hours will be too much to bear. It will also affect the waiting time for 962. Besides, if your proposed service would operate full day, the 981 part would be somehow "dead" milages during off peak, since the demand comes during peak hours only.Originally posted by eX.A.K.R.:Two suggestions:
2. Intergrate route 962 and 981. From Admiralty Street , it will turn back out onto Sembawang Drive, turn left into Admiralty Road West (turning right is not possible there), and then continue on route 981's route. A bus stop will be set up opposite the one currently at Admiralty Street for directional-differentiating, as well as two new bus stops along the short stretch of Sembawang Drive between Admiralty Street and Admiralty Road West to compensate for the two bus stops along Admiralty Road West, around that junction. This will provide another link from Woodlands and Sembawang to Senoko (relieving route 856), as well as allow those living in the northern quarters along Sembawang Drive better access to that area without transferring buses or long walks.
What do you think?
How abt 180 being extended from BPJ to SBW?Originally posted by off_service:I would rather 962 to extend North West or West, bringing in new links to towns like CCK and Boon Lay (BNL is almost impossible for now) via Woodlands. I suggest CCK due to the fact that 925 doesn't operate to CCK on Sundays and PH, and is only a day service. This will provide a daily link between CCK and Woodlands, and offer new links to Sembawang too.
Any idea of the route extension part? hmm..Originally posted by iveco:How abt 180 being extended from BPJ to SBW?
BKE, SLE, WDL Ave 10 (or 12?), then enter SBW town from there.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Any idea of the route extension part? hmm..
