Huh?? Really?? Then how to go up Rumah Tinggi ?Originally posted by iveco:63 had DD before. Remember seeing those LAs serving it.
Looking at your route, I think it would be better if it didn't even head east, but cut it short at Yishun or Yio Chu Kang even, and maybe go through Sembawang. Maybe something like this:Originally posted by slwsglz:why not reintroduce back sv 989?
former 989 used to serve cck via bukit batok to airport.
so let get back svc 989 to serve btw bukit batok to airport.

I suggest 119 to be amended to serve Hougang Int/MRT.
Suggested route: Hougang Ave 8 -> Upp Sgoon Rd -> Hougang Ctrl -> Hougang Ave 4 -> Upp Sgoon Rd -> Hougang St 21.
This way, Rivervale Dr and Sengkang East Way residents will have direct bus connection with Hougang Int/MRT instead of current situation of having to walk to Hougang Plaza to take 119. Hougang Ave 4 residents could also have a bus service since 72 was amended to serve Hougang Ctrl.
Isit both directions?Originally posted by gorby107:But with this, it will skip a crucial bus stop where quite a few number of passengers who take this service. (especially students)
Any reason why it will loop on wkends instead of terminating? The route seems very close to 154 but if it was true i sure take!Originally posted by SBS2671B:Express 505# (Weekend Route)

You forgot about 985 that goes to the east (Kallang), although it takes about 35 - 40 mins for the 985/985W to get from CCK to Jln Toa Payoh and about an hour to reach Geylang Lorong 1 Terminal(Non Peak) due to serving Bt Batok.Originally posted by patdog112:i feel that SMRT should at least introduce a new route to go east....
its a pain for cck residents to go east with bus...
only the long haul 67 bus goes east
woodlands resident has plenty of buses to go east...
Bukit panjang residents have 966
bukit batok has EXPRESS506

The problem that i encounter was with Yew Tee. From CCK Cres, only can take 302 and sometimes have to wait quite long. Then it takes quite some time to reach CCK Int too. From CCK Int there then can change to 985 (1 choice other than 67)Would be good if SMRT extends some services to Yew Tee or amend 302 into a service to goes to Bt Panjang!

they'll take mrtOriginally posted by patdog112:i dun tink anybody who wan to save time will take 154 from enous to boonlay![]()
true...the express 505 would be quite a waste... many 154 hotspot areas not served like MacPherson, Clementi Rd stretch, clementi station, taman jurong estate... but i'll take it to boon lay from home as it will be much faster than MRT or 154Originally posted by musli_bar:they'll take mrt![]()
How to turn at the loop?Originally posted by Kheng Peng:how about merging 275 with 198 to make it extended to loop at bukit purmei avenue?![]()
don't think can, if they do it, 198 may not be a WAB service.Originally posted by Kheng Peng:how about merging 275 with 198 to make it extended to loop at bukit purmei avenue?![]()
Originally posted by eX.A.K.R.:The only good about this service is that it provides links which are not available when 925 is operating as 925C. Other than that.. it's quite a butt pain service. They are better off transferring to MRT at Marsiling or 962 to WRI.
