as said by volvo, this route is too long. besides, i think that bukit batok wants to remain full smrt buses. so most likely this bus will have to be handed over to smrt. think you should shorten the route and extend to jurong eastOriginally posted by bus555:How about diverted Service 62 from looping at Lor 1 Geylang to Bukit Batok

Well eh the route high lighted in red is the route that amanded to Bukt Batok and it Serves Hougang/Punggol resedient to Bt Panjang/Choa Chu Kang and Bt Batok. So is this route acceptable?
Seriously talk,Long routes like this must ply more express sectors. No need to extend IMO.Originally posted by bus555:How about this now for Service 62? Amanded it to Jurong East?

IMO 175 can be extended to Sims Pl or even Eunos intOriginally posted by iveco:Hmm, speaking of 62, why does it loop @ Geylang Fringe while 175 terminates there?
The argument that Geylang Fringe 'belongs' to SMRTB makes no sense since svc 11 starts from there.
In Theory, nice, but in practice, sounds a little off. Why the inbalance in EXPRESS sectors? Maybe, if you wanted, bring 62 back to terminate at perhaps Shenton Way/New Bridge Road Terminal, sounds better off.Originally posted by bus555:How about this now for Service 62? Amanded it to Jurong East?

Eng Neo Ave can also jammed during peak hours at junction of Dunearn Road..Originally posted by SBS3688Y:I noticed svc 190,700 & 960 always got stuck along the PIE that stretch for many km during morning peak. Sometimes the jam is so terrible till it stretches to BKE
I don't know if travel time can be shortened by exiting Eng Neo Ave and then travel via Dunearn Rd (non-stop express) instead and then:
svc 960 will then travel straight towards tekka.
svc 190 & 700 will then turn right to Scotts Rd (avoid Stevens Rd)?
And to increase turnaround time during morning peak, some rigid buses from svc 190 will go OFF SERVICE from New Bridge Rd ter and travel the shortest route via expressway all the way to Bt Panjang and then start a new trip (midway) towards city again. (similar to svc 147A arrangement)
Whitley Rd = Jam.Originally posted by SBS9889U:Eng Neo Ave = Jam
Dunearn Rd = More Jam
Use steven is better

I think mk3/mk4 the seat is not too hard like the B9TL's and it is still ok. If need to take a break or walk can always go down and take the next bus. Perhaps the fare can be in terms of fare - stageOriginally posted by 105090:like that who want to take?
