I'd rather let SBST extend service 35 to Changi Naval base as there's no public bus serving there nowOriginally posted by TWS4793:This is another idea of a bus route I've been thinking of. Previously Changi Coast Road is quite deserted, with possibly some aviation fans going there to spot planes and some taking pictures of planes. Most of the planes will take-off from runway 02R if they're heading North, runway 20L for landing. It's quite troublesome to walk such a long distance for the aviation fans, especially since some of them might want to spot the new Airbus A380 in Singapore. This has been created in mind of those yearning to spot planes but do not want to waste their energy walking for long distances (like me). What do you think?
Service 35 (Extended) - Bedok Interchange to Changi Ferry Terminal -
i believe most aviation fans would have their own transport or hitch a ride with their other aviation fan friends. no need for public buses running down changi coastal road.
changi naval base got shuttle buses for staff.
SAFYC got shuttle vans frm tanah merah mrt stn. -

I think we should either write to PTC or SMRT / SBST to intro such services , i've written to them already. The total distance of runway 02C/20C is 4 km long. Those who come taking public transport surely would want a better way of being transported around. -
Since Bedok Int is overcrowding, what about extending SBST 9 to Eunos Int?
Normal route from CACC to New Upp Changi Rd Changi Rd Jln Turi Eunos Rd 2 Eunos Int
or extend SBST 168 to Eunos Int via Normal route from Woodlands to Bedok North Ave 3 Bedok North Street 1 Chai Chee St Chai Chee Dr Changi Rd Jln Turi Eunos Rd 2 Eunos Int -
This should improve the accessibillity between the residents of Woodlands, Tampines, Bedok, Chai Chee and Eunos. As for S168 extension to Eunos there's alot of red tape that needs to be cleared. S9 shouldnt be a problem. But if its extended to Eunos means it'll be under brbp...

How about merging Sv 119 and Sv 113
(this idea is not from me, but from my@jas)
Sengkang Int to Upper Paya Lebar Rd(Loop)
will follow the original 119 route until to Kovan area and continue on with Sv 113 route to Upper Paya Lebar Rd then go back to Sengkang Int
This will fully utilise the DDs
Hougang Ave 6/8/10/2 has Sv 62 to bring commuters to Lor Ah Soo/Upper Paya Lebar area
Operating Hours: 0515-0015
Frequency: 5-18mins
No of buses: 9 (Weekdays) (6 A/P shifts, 2 E shifts, 1 S shift)
8 (Saturdays, Sundays & PH) (6 A/P shifts, 2 T shifts) -

There are already some buses going towards Orchard Rd along Lr Delta Rd and Kg Bahru Rd. It is just a short walk from the flats.
855 can also deviate inside the housing estate and provide a more direct link with HBF MRT. -

But HBF MRT is much nearer.
