Another thing that I've been thinking of.
Extension of Service 87 - Sengkang to Sims Place (Direction 1)
[Full Route Until Bedok North Avenue 1]
Chai Chee Street
- Opposite Block 42
- Opposite Blocks 50/51
- Opposite Block 53

- Before Lorong 110 Changi
- Before Jamiyah Home
- After GE Life Centre (EW7 - Eunos MRT Station)
-Joo Chiat Complex
Geylang Road
- Block 14 Market/FC
- City Plaza
- Opposite Lorong 39 Geylang
- After Lorong 34 Geylang
- After Lorong 28 Geylang
Aljunied Road
- Opposite SCN Centre
- Opposite EW9 - Aljunied MRT Station
Sims Drive
- Opposite Block 59
- Block 45
Sims Place
- Sims Place Terminal
Extension of Service 87 - Sengkang to Sims Place (Direction 2)

- Block 49
Sims Drive
- Block 59
Aljunied Road
- EW9 - Aljunied MRT Station
Sims Avenue

- Block 414

New Upper Changi Road
- Chai Chee Industrial Park
Chai Chee Road
- Block 24
Chai Chee Street
- Block 42
Bedok North Avenue 1
- Bedok Interchange
[Continue original trip from here]
Advantages:
1. Links residents of several places together, most notably Sengkang, Hougang and many others.
2. An additonal supplement of the current Service 64 which is the only service to stop at Sims Place Terminal.
Disadvantages:
1. Heavy route duplication.
Significant Note(s):
1. The extended route of Service 87 on leg 1 heading Southwards to Sims Place Terminal does not go to Bedok Interchange, reason being that others can take the MRT or any other bus services to Aljunied and transfer from there.
2. The extended route of Service 87 on leg 2 heading Northwards to Sengkang will stop at Bedok Interchange to drop off and pick up passengers.
den wat abt ppl from depot rd/jln bt merah/zion rd/paterson rd going there?Originally posted by iveco:How about extending 175 to EUN and making it ply BEach Rd instead of Victoria St/Nth Bridge Rd?
For your first suggestion about the broken links that affect Bedok Intercange and Kaki Bukit, maybe why not I extend the route to Bedok Interchange while still leaving the full route unchanged?Originally posted by musli_bar:But this will greatly affect the link between Bedok Int and Kaki Bukit.
Furthermore, I feel that it's 'weird' to make a big loop at Kaki Bukit/Chai Chee just to get back at Eunos to head to Sims Place.
Personally, I think it would be better to have a link between Kaki Bukit/Bedok Reservoir with Marine Parade/Upp East Coast Rd.
One problem for this, 62 doesn't go to Kovan. 119 doesn't go Kovan Hub too for the return trip.Originally posted by gorby107:How about merging Sv 119 and Sv 113
(this idea is not from me, but from my@jas)
Sengkang Int to Upper Paya Lebar Rd(Loop)
will follow the original 119 route until to Kovan area and continue on with Sv 113 route to Upper Paya Lebar Rd then go back to Sengkang Int
This will fully utilise the DDs
Hougang Ave 6/8/10/2 has Sv 62 to bring commuters to Lor Ah Soo/Upper Paya Lebar area
Operating Hours: 0515-0015
Frequency: 5-18mins
No of buses: 9 (Weekdays) (6 A/P shifts, 2 E shifts, 1 S shift)
8 (Saturdays, Sundays & PH) (6 A/P shifts, 2 T shifts)
lol. This looks like a shortened version and faster version of service 66 from Bedok to Jurong East.Originally posted by SBS 9256 X:Service 49

74 is high demand service, liddat make the BCs even more stressed. but from pax point of view it's good i guess. now punggol services mostly operate within the north and the east, so these new services provide better links...Originally posted by tanjun:In conjunction with the government Punggol 21 project, I have made new or amended bus services to Punggol.

153 also another one worth consideration.Originally posted by 5454:Instead of 74 & 147 would be better to extend 132 & 165 to Punggol.
Erm. To me, I created just for the fun of it.Originally posted by n4l:I got a qn.
How many of the routes here are actually considered by SBS or SMRT at all?
Doesn't this duplicate 83 too much. Anyway, i believe long haul trunk services like 74, 140 should not make such a big loop. It will take maybe an extra 10 mins to cover the distance. Moreover, there are already 3 and 83 plying that route.Originally posted by tanjun:In conjunction with the government Punggol 21 project, I have made new or amended bus services to Punggol.
