theres a network of 30 51 78 79 143 serving the Teban Gardens area alreadyOriginally posted by SBS9889U:Service 30
Amend Service 30 in direction 1 to serve :
West Coast Road -> Pandan Gdns -> Jurong Town Hall Rd(Express) -> Teban Gardens Road
Instead of: West Coast Rd -> Jurong Town Hall Rd(Express) -> Teban Gardens Road.
Purpose: To serve Pandan Gdns residents better.
Maybe a route 969 reroute?Originally posted by K800i:SBST = Service 41
Changi Airport to Changi Village
This is way way overdue, come SBST . There must be a bus connection from Airport to Village. Do you know how troublesome to connect from Airport to Tanah Merah then to Changi Village ? Very time-consuming !
Changi Airport - ECP - Upper Changi Road East - Simei Ave - Simei St 3 - Simei Road - Tampines Ave 2 - Tampines St 32 - Tampines St 34 - Tampines Ave 7 - Pasir Ris Drive 1 - Pasir Ris St 21 - Pasir Ris Drive 3 - Loyang Ave - Changi Village
What do you guys think ?
Simei residents will benefit services to Changi Airport .
There is a need of a SMRT service in east area. Woodlands via Sembawang to Changi Village . I really hope they come out with something in the future. CCK to Changi Village sounds good too .
Agree, AgreeOriginally posted by sbst275:No No
That Sv 506A is to reduce the avg freq on that stretch from 15 mins to 12 mins during AM peak.. 506 packed like sardine fish these days
I really would like to agree with you, but I got some reservations about it.Originally posted by kengkia:route svc 925
i feel that this route can ply into yew tee area then to sg kadut instead of going straight into KJE den into woodlands road where both 925 and 927 ply each other for two pairs of bus stop at woodlands road which is such a waste..feel that it could put into better use in yew tee area there...
Maybe deploy ADD for the peak hr fleetOriginally posted by SBS9889U:Agree, Agree, but maybe serve from JE -> Toa Payoh and vice versa better.

30 mins ... thats longOriginally posted by SBS9889U:But i dont tink quite possible, if SBST want that to happen, i predict 506's frequency later become 30 mins.
Currently is about 20 mins for PM Peak for direction 1 and around 17 mins for direction 2(approx)Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:30 mins ... thats long
Shorten to 20 mins loh![]()
A 'money tree' also dun want to deploy ADD when bus is overloadedOriginally posted by SBS9889U:But i dont tink quite possible, if SBST want that to happen, i predict 506's frequency later become 30 mins.
..den waste of buses right...just dun understand why SMRT die die dun wanna put more bus services to ply yew tee....Originally posted by my@jas:I really would like to agree with you, but I got some reservations about it.
If it really does go to Yew Tee, then the frequency would have to be increased to cope with increased demand, then the bus would be empty from SG Kadut to Woodlands![]()
yeah agreed...and 969 can be extended to changi village from tampines as wellOriginally posted by K800i:SBST = Service 41

SMRT also have no money to run business compared to SBST. SMRT buses are not as clean as SBST buses and worse till, SMRT reuse old CSS Nissan Buses instead of buying newer buses, whereas SBST put in effort to buy Volvo CNGs and B9TLs.Originally posted by kengkia:that assmrt.....takeover tibs and destroy it....so despicable
Agreed , The last SMRT Newer bus is actually the Habit bendy in fact (TIB1247G). But somehow i think SMRT won't buy new buses but instead re-use the CSS NissanOriginally posted by TIB1018B:SMRT also have no money to run business compared to SBST.
