I find that the S’goon Nth and S’goon Gardens area aren’t well connected to the city area. A direct link to the city area will bring convenience for those residents. From Toa Payoh, it will continue as follows:
Jln Toa Payoh
Thomson Road
Newton Rd
Scotts Rd
Paterson Rd
Irwell Bank Rd
Kim Seng Rd
Ganges Ave
Lower Delta Rd
Kampong Bahru Rd
Telok Blangah Rd
Harbourfront IntPerhaps the current 73 can be renumbered as 73A, serving as a short working trip between AMK and TPY, if there is high demand between these two areas.
Thats quite a nice idea. But it kind of duplicates 143 and 5 to Kim Seng Rd.
Why not try this: Jln Toa Payoh, Whitley Rd, Stevens Rd, Scotts Rd, paterson Rd, Irwell Bank Rd, Kim Seng Rd, Ganges Ave, Alexandra Rd, Telok Blangah Rd.

Demand is not high during off-peak hrs but can be very packed during peak hrs.
Good idea indeed. S'goon North area currently only have 132 and 551 to Orchard and 147 to City Hall area.
This suggestion should boost the demand for sv73. S'goon Garden area doesn't even have a service link to city. Can also be served as a alternative of sv143
47 Upp East Coast Terminal to Bukit Batok
Upp East Coast Road - Bedok Road - New Upp Changi Road - Bedok North Road - Bedok Reservoir Road - Eunos Link - Macpherson Road - Jln Toa Payoh - Whitley Road - Bt Timah Road - Farrer Road - Holland Road - Clementi Road - Upp Bt Timah Road - Jln Jurong Kechil - Bt Batok East Ave 6/2 - Bt Batok Central.

it will duplicate much of 105 from Lor Chuan instead.

Oops I guess thats worse then....
So stick with Jln Toa Payoh, Thomson Rd, Scotts Rd, Newton Rd, Paterson Rd, Irwell Bank Rd, Kim Seng Rd, Ganges Ave, Alexandra Rd, Telok Blangah Rd.

How about a party-hopper service?
49 Marina Centre to Serangoon Gardens Circus
Marina Centre - Stamford Rd - North Bridge Road - River Valley Road - Hoot Kiam Road - Orchard Boulevard - Grange Road - Napier Road - Holland Road - Farrer Road - Adam Road - Lornie Road - Thomson Road - Braddell Road - Lorong Chuan - Serangoon Gardens Circus (loop).
the use of river valley road allows the orchard area to be partially served and yet avoid peak-hr traffic jams.
I have some suggestions:
Amend Svc 82 to make it Punggol Int - Potong Pasir (Loop).
Introduce a short haul service 84 from Punggol Int to Punggol Road End (Loop) just like 882.
Svc 198 can be extended to Marina Centre Terminal via Chinatown so as to give Jurong East/West Ave 1 a direct link to Chinatown.
IMO maybe Svc 181 can be extended to Jurong West St 22 (Non-stop sector), 23 and 24 and then back to Ave 3 instead of U turn at the end of Ave 3.
Maybe Svc 185 can be amended to ply Holland Ave, Holland Rd and North Buona Vista Road instead to give Jurong East/West Ave 1 a direct link to Holland V also?
Maybe can integrate Svc 60 with Svc 18 to make it Eunos Int to Tampines Int via Bedok Ctrl?
And as for the future Joo Koon Interchange (or Terminal) although it is too early to say but I predicts that Svcs 79, 182, 185, 192, 193, 251, 252, 254, 255 and 257 might be moving to the new interchange.
Things might goes like this:
79 - Jurong East - Joo Koon - The present routes remains unchanged but instead of entering Boon Lay Int after Jurong West Ctrl 3, can proceed to replace 193's route from Jurong West St 64 to Upper Jurong Rd (SDC) before entering Benoi Rd and Joo Koon Int.
182 - Joo Koon - Tuas South (Loop) - Cut the parts between Boon Lay Int and Upp Jurong Road.
185 - Joo Koon - Buona Vista - Replaces 257 in Jln Ahmad Ibrahim and before proceed to Pioneer Rd North.
192 - Tuas Ter - Joo Koon Int (Loop) - Cut off the parts between Boon Lay Int and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim (Before Benoi Rd).
193 - Tuas Ter - Joo Koon Int (Loop) - Cut off the parts between Boon Lay Int and Upper Jurong Rd (SAFTI).
194 - Tuas Ter - Joo Koon Int (Loop) - Renumbered from Svc 254 (And for this case the current 194 can be renumbered as Parks 407 instead) and converted into normal trunk Svc - Cuts off the parts between Boon Lay Int and Pioneer Rd (Before Benoi Rd) and instead of going back to Tuas Basin Link after Tuas Ave 11, it proceeds to Pioneer Rd, Tuas West Drive and Tuas Terminal. And return trip via Tuas Ter, Tuas West Dr, Pioneer Rd, Tuas Ave 11, Ave 20, Tuas Cres and proceeding to Joo Koon Int via the existing route.
251 - Joo Koon - Benoi Rd (Loop) - To ply Lok Yang (Replaces 192) before proceeding to Pioneer Rd. Cuts off the sectors between Boon Lay Int and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim (before Pioneer Rd)
252 - Joo Koon - Boon Lay Int (Loop) - Routes basically the same as current.
255 - Joo Koon - Benoi Cres (Loop) - Cuts off the parts between Boon Lay Int and Benoi which is mostly express sector and 179 can be the alternative for JW St 63 sector.
257 - Joo Koon - Pioneer Sector (Loop) - Cuts off the sectors between Boon Lay Int and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim (Before Benoi Rd)
Some new services might be introduced as well.
Suggestions:
164 - Joo Koon - Jurong West St 61/63 (Loop)
Joo Koon Int, Benoi Rd, Pioneer Rd, (Replaces 254), Jln Ahmad Ibrahim (Replaces 251), Jln Boon Lay (Express), Jurong West Ctrl 3 (Boon Lay MRT), Jurong West St 64, Boon Lay Way (Replaces 254), Pioneer Rd North, Jurong West Ave 4, Jurong West St 61, St 63 (Pioneer MRT, loop) and returns to Pioneer Rd North.
148 - Joo Koon - Tuas South Extension (Loop)
The service will ply express at Upp Jurong Rd, Jln Ahmad Ibrahim, Tuas West Dr, Tuas South Ave 1, Ave 3 after Joo Koon Interchange before proceeding to the Tuas South Extension area.
Don't think that extending Svc 182 to Tuas South Extension is a good idea as the travelling time for the 'ultra remote' Tuas South extension area will be longer.
And also since the pair of bus stop outside Jurong Point are going to demolish when the new interchange began to use, the pair of bus stops can be moves to outside the new Boon Lay Int and Jurong West Community Building for Svcs 79 and 164 pax to Boon Lay Int/MRT/Jurong Point.
Personally I dun think that they are going to extend 502 and 99 to Joo Koon btw. Also I think that those ppl working in Gul, Pioneer Sector, Lok Yang, Benoi and Tuas etc prefers a direct link to Joo Koon MRT instead of Boon Lay.

actually it would be super slow. 198 already takes about 30 - 45 mins to reach queensway. A better solution is to have a Chinatown Direct Service.

for this, Buona vista terminal is within walking distance of holland V. So, strictly no need lah. But one way is for 185 to do a loop instead of terminating.
201 Ghim Moh Terminal to Clementi West St 2
Ghim Moh Road - C'wealth Ave West - Clementi Road - Kent Ridge Crescent - Clementi Road - West Coast Road - Clementi West St 2 (loop).
Rationale ... link NUS/West Coast to Dover MRT to reduce overcrowding at Clementi and encourage better usage of Dover MRT.

192 - Joo Koon - Tuas Int (Might become a loop service) - Cut off the parts between Boon Lay Int and Jln Ahmad Ibrahim (Before Benoi Rd).

Maybe pass by New Upper Changi Road? And since its express service, I suggest a 5XX number. Maybe 510?

It cannot pick up too many passengers as it cannot use DDs due to height limitations at CGA tunnel.

Is the demand from CCK to CGA so high? I think stopping at Jalan Toa Payoh is a good idea. Maybe can pass through bedok and use New upper changi road/ECP to get to CGA.

1) Change 5, 151 and 154 to use Toa Payoh instead of shooting straight on the PIE (like 506)
2) Change 54 to use stevens rd and 132 to Newton Rd -> Scotts Rd

good idea. Though I think maybe 151 can continue on AYE since it is so long ... even 151e takes 1 hr to reach Hougang Central.

89 Already goes to Changi Beach and it is good enough. I wonder how's the demand for 89 since it goes to Changi Cargo Complex.
