181 - Jurong West Ave 3(Loop)Originally posted by SBS9889U:I suggest merge Sv181 with Sv240 to form a Townlink service. How u guys think?
242 have ultra good ridership/frequency, this may boost sv243's frequency if they mergedOriginally posted by brotherchen1982:181 - Jurong West Ave 3(Loop)reduce the stress of svc 243 & might be extended when the area is developed.
240 - Jln Ahmad Ibrahim(Loop)bring people Boon Lay Gdns/Taman Jurong areas
Try taking the whole route of svc 240 & see if you still want to integrate svc 240 with svc 181...
Or try integrating svc 242 with svc 243...
242 is another one of SBST's highest frequency routes, getting up to 1min scheduled frequency in the morning peak, as with 179...Originally posted by SBS9889U:242 have ultra good ridership/frequency, this may boost sv243's frequency if they merged![]()

I feel 243's frequency can be improved further, frequently see people packed to the door in the evening peak.
181's frequency is bad as well, but the demand is not there, the buses still don't get full after 15mins.
I think people can just take 856 or 911 to 913 insteadOriginally posted by SBS9889U:Suggestion:
Sv178A : Woodlands Reg Int to Woodlands Ctr Rd and back to Woodlands Reg Int Daily
So that Marsiling residents dont have to wait so long for Sv178.
I been to Marsiling few years back and there was one road with only Sv178 and the nearest 913 bus stop was quite far away.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:I think people can just take 856 or 911 to 913 instead![]()
Not many people will take as MRT is faster.Originally posted by SBS9889U:Suggestion:
Sv187A: Bt Batok Ctrl(Opp BLK 62to Boon Lay Way(Lakeside Stn) from 1900 to 2300.
Hmm , I think it will be very longOriginally posted by Y_Shun:Merging 82 into 107
107 covers 82's route from Punggol to Serangoon Interchange.
Overall,
107 Punggol - Shenton Way
107# Punggol - Marinal Centre (Loop)
isn't that the former route of svc 82?Originally posted by Y_Shun:107=> Punggol -> Shenton Way => 17 + 10 = 27
107=> Shenyon Way -> Punggol => 18+ 10 = 28
Roughly there...
sadly...Originally posted by Y_Shun:Merging 82 into 107

Only thing was that Svc 82 serve Bendemeer Rd instead of Kallang bahru Estate. And the fact that 82 doesnt serve Marina Center.Originally posted by tanjun:isn't that the former route of svc 82?
I think the 2nd one is better , may have some demand on it.Originally posted by swee_heng:i suggest a new SBST route from CCK to Pasir RIs via CCK Way , CCK Rd , BT Panjang , then follow 960/963's route until Blk270 Bt Panjang , then BKE , Woodlands Ave 2&3 , Ave 12 , SLE , Jln Kayu , TPE , Loyang Ave , Pasir Ris Dr 1, 6 ,3 , Pasir Ris Int. By implementing this svc , it will serve convienient to people staying in Bt Panjang to places like Jln Kayu , Pasir Ris. Can replan this svc to exit at Tampines as well. SBST has been dominated at SMRT's territory like Yishun's 39 & 85 & Woodlands' 161 and 168.
or
CCK - Pasir Ris via CCK Way , Bt Batok Rd (follows 160/180's route) , Jurong Town Hall , Jurong East Ave 1 , Toh Guan Rd , Boon Lay Way C'wealth Ave West , Clementi Rd , (follow 52's route) PIE , Jln Toa Payoh , Jln Kolam ayer , PIE , Tampines Ave 2 , Ave 7 , Loyang Ave , Pasir Ris Dr2 , Dr3 , Pasir Ris Int.
Which route do u guys think is te best?
ok ten lets write to SBST & get it implementedOriginally posted by SBS9889U:Second one better. Go by Ngee Ann Poly then sure will have good ridership.
