i suggest that SBS BETTER SEND OUT DOUBLE DECKERS ON BUS NO. 242 DURING MORNING AND EVENING PEAK HOURS...dam crowdly on 242 during peak hours, especially when the bus takes a long long long long long long time to come and is 9.5 out of 10--single decker bus
i suggest SBS put another service to serve ppl like at jurong blk 900+...we only got 99 and 242 which is not enough...maybe SBS can put 1 service ply jurong west st 6x and then travel through st 93 and reach st 92.

I can only say that Jurong West is over-populated

1. Braddell MRT would be deemed almost useless in that case.
2. 238's frequency will be back to 6-7min per bus instead of the current 4-5min.

Extension of 89 to Ang Mo Kio and renumbered as 129 as AMK services revolve around 130++.
Purpose
1. Provide a faster link from AMK to Sengkang than 159 or 88 currently.
2. Provide a direct link from AMK, Serangoon North to Pasir Ris and Changi North areas.
Maybe 181 can be extended to Jurong West N4/5 area?
The extention can be as follows:
After orginal route, Jurong West St 22 (Express), St 23, Ave 2 (Express), Corporation Rd, Ave 1, St 42, St 41, St 51, St 52 and back to Ave 1.
This will provide a linkage for JW St 41, 42 & 52 to Boon Lay Int and Gek Poh SC which are currently only served by 334 and 335 which goes to Jurong East.

Why would Braddell MRT become useless? There is still 231/232/59.
I feel that the route for 232 should be edited, either using jayh272416's method or lor 6 -> east -> lor 7 -> lor 6 -> lor 2 ->lor 3 -> lor 4 -> central -> lor 2 and back. The main demand for 232 is from tp mrt/ braddell mrt to the lor 6/7 area and this can save a lot of time for many commuters, not to mention releiving some of the loads for 238.

Quite useful and beneficial, especially for AMK residents. It's good enough to suggest to SBS Transit already. Why not? ![]()

Agree but 66 fare stage may be not so beneficial to the bus captain, maybe make more road express or limited stop.
Maybe can go TPE at Hougang skip all of ponggol.
