I would suggest that Svc 62 to be extended to Marina Centre via Victoria Street.
Currently none of the Punggol Services plys city area.
How about some amanded route for Feeder 292.

With this amanded route, It will skipped 1 bus-stop of tampines Ave 5 (Blk 147 and 938). Residents of St 82 would have a conviment to and from Int plus ppl studying in St Hilda Pri/Sec, East Spring & JunYuan Pri would have a conviment ride to and from their school to home some were in St 22/11 area. So what do you think.
I suggest an extention of service 83 to shenton way

Our minister announced that bus services are now allowed to duplicate mature lines (NS and EW line):
Abstract from http://app.sprinter.gov.sg/data/pr/20080130996.htm
"Allowing Basic Bus Services to Duplicate Parts of the Rail Network
19. Today, trunk buses are not allowed to run routes that are parallel to rail lines. This avoids wasteful duplication of resources, which would increase the overall cost of our public transport system. However, LTA has reviewed and will relax this rule for the mature rail lines, namely the North-South and East-West lines, where ridership is high and the scope for expanding rail capacity quickly is limited. From June 2008, we will allow new bus services to ply along the North-South and East West lines where there is persistent heavy passenger loading during peak hours. For example, it will now be possible to have a more direct bus that runs parallel to the North-South Line, from Ang Mo Kio to Orchard Road, compared to existing services which have more indirect routes. This would give commuters an attractive alternative to trains."
Maybe we should have some suggestions with regards to this? ![]()

Route may be semi-express so that it is in comparison with the MRT. i.e. call at the MRT stops and probably some selected stops.

I WANT TO KILL YOU FOR EVEN SUGGESTING SUCH A THING!!
Firstly, the route just does not make sense. Pasir Ris -> Tampines -> Pasir Ris -> Punggol.
Secondly, it does not serve Pasir Ris St 21 like the current Service 3 does. There's a good demand for Service 3 at Pasir Ris St 21.
Thirdly, the loss of many links: 1) Pasir Ris Central to Pasir Ris St 21 and vice versa.
2) Pasir Ris Central to Pasir Ris St 71 (unless people want to walk to Pasir Ris Dr 1)
3) Pasir Ris Central to Punggol (unless people want to walk to Pasir Ris Dr 1)
and many more.
The current Service 3 is high demand. Amending it to what you suggested above would most likely result in a drop in demand.

Some bus routes that I think should be merged:-
Services 11 and 62 merge to become Punggol - National Stadium (loop service)
Services 48 and 200 merge to become Upp East Coast - Kent Ridge
Services 56 and 57 merge to become Bishan - Bt Merah (via Marina Square)
Services 115 and 119 merge to become Sengkang - Hougang Ave 1 (loop service)

How about merging services 83 and 163 (or 159) to become Punggol - Toa Payoh.

48 and 200 merge is quite good, but pple may choose to take 33 instead of the merger service if from bedok.

Maybe can, took 200 before, road is not so steep lah, but maybe can use riser to the max. However, DM3500 is just right if you want new bus and comfort, but remember 200 is a PAC service, so maybe can have 2-4 NAC in the service.
Now using com at sch

In fact service 200 stopped using NAC buses after all the Volvo MK2s are phased out, so should still be FAC though. At most mixture of Volvo MK4 and Scania K230UB fleets will be good.
Maybe they should merge 142 and 90 such that it runs Toa Payoh - Potong Pasir - Paya Lebar Air Base - Potong Pasir - Toa Payoh. They could also merge 3 with 69 to be Punggol to Bedok, and skip out the Tampines Central 1 part.
