this junction is conveniently a bird's eye view from my house. once i was waiting at this junction and a motorcyclist hit a car and the motorcyclist fly upwards just 10 metres infront of me. even i as a driver, use st 21, st 24, left turn ave 7 keep right, st 42 to avoid this seemingly dangerous way of going straight.
But then the buses can wait there until they can go straight eh. -

Does it start from from Marsiling Lane or Woodlands Regional Interchange? Is it a trunk service? If this is introduced, it will almost certainly have a high demand. Woodlands needs a town service that provides a quick link to town and this fills the void.. how about another service to ply the Orchard Rd - City Hall - Shenton Way corridor? Since somebody wrote in to the Straits Times Forum page to complain that there's no link from Woodlands to Orchard Rd... -

Fantasy route service 49 from Pasir Ris to Jurong East.
I used to suggest this route previously but it has been amended to ply Lower Kent Ridge Rd, Suntec, CBD areas. Thus, it provides quick links from Pasir Ris to Marine Parade, Suntec, Marina Centre, Shenton Way and NUS and Teban Gdns.
Service 49A is a bus service that skips CBD areas and provides an even faster link than 49 from the east to NUS areas. It operates in one direction only and during weekdays morning and evening peak hours
Overall, service 49 acts as an alternative to the east-west line.

But I dont see how it provides a quick link from Pasir Ris to the West. The route would take at least 1hr to get from Pasir Ris to NUS and another 30mins to get to JE. I would suggest going via West Coast Highway instead of West Coast Road. Maybe dont loop around the Tanjong Katong area so much too.49A shd be renumbered 49e. 'A' routes are short service ones and shouldnt be used in routes that skip stops. Might cause confusion.

M is better. e is more of FFWservices which are of different fare range.

For Svc 48, maybe can instead of heading to ECP straight after Ophir Rd, can consider plying Victoria St (or North Bridge Rd), Bras Basah Rd, Nicoll Highway and then ECP (For return trip, is Nicoll Highway, Stamford Rd, Victoria St and continue the original route)?

oya forgot the bus stops along the AYE xD, yeah 137M will stop at those. Maybe there can be an announcement "The next stop will be at loyang avenue. I repeat the next stop will be at loyang avenue."

maybe shortening the number of feeder services and improving the routes in most of the interchange.. save petrol! LoL! now petrol expensive ):
I live around bt merah area, i thought maybe 2 feeder services in the neighbourhood would just be enough.
there are 272,273 & 275 right now.
combining the routes abit.
272 & 275 combine become new feeder service.

No need to transfer bus 307. Save time. Same route as 300, BUT from Ave 2, to CCK Way , CCK Ave 1, Teck Whye Cresent (add busstop after Al-Khair Mosque, CCK Polyclinic) and another stop nearby (Pioneer JC, Teck Whye Sec,BPGHS, Teck Whye Primary) , Jalan Teck Whye(loop) , CCK Ave 1, CCK Way & back to Ave 2. Low demand from Ave 3 because there's bus 975 that also pass by cck int.

How was it?
You know what is feeder what is trunk, feeder just ply housing estates with lesser outside stop, so that bus service is a trunk not a feeder, secondly, fyi, 60 is a trunk service and the routes that are suggested to be merged sounds alright anyway, because it can be a intra-town service that collects feeder rate like yishun ones.
And somemore, harbourfront int is not like bedok, it do not have sawtooth berth, it is better to have such a two interchange loop service at places where sawtooth is available, maybe make it trunk and have two directions. and do you know that harbourfront int cannot take in more buses liao, cause no more berths available
Name is also confusing, just say Harbourfront but not vivo,
