  I like this service as i passes Simei estate which only have 5, 9, 12, and 38. For Simei St 1, there is only 38 while there is 5 and 9 at Simei St 3. The bus services that ply Simei estate are mostly confined to the eastern towns and the furthest is Chinatown and Bukit Merah by 12 and 5 respectatively.

   

  However, this fantasy service duplicates 10 from Telok Blangah all the way to Kent Ridge. In addition, 30 and 143 also followed the same route as the former. So there is 10, 30, 143 and your fantasy service 118 to go from Pasir Panjang to Harbourfront.

  Hmm. Firstly, I think this route contains too many fare stage mainly because it makes a big roundabout over to Changi Village.

  Secondly, it runs parallel with 175 from Clementi to Depot Rd. (175 uses West Coast Highway while this service utilises West Coast Rd).

  Thirdly, this service 46 seems to meet 10 often - Pasir Panjang Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Upp East Coast Rd, East Coast Rd, Bedok Rd, Tampines Interchange.

  only 50% is duplicatively haha. overall Service 10, 30, 143 and 188 duplicates the Telok Blangah - Kent Ridge sector but that sector is where peak hour ridership is off the roof despite a 6minute frequency for 30 and 7minute frequency for 143. it provides another service to link to HarbourFront esp West Coast Highway portion (Pasir Panjang Wholesale Market) but it also links them to Suntec and Marine Parade which the other services do not.

  Oops. I didn't notice that your 118 utilises West Coast Highway instead of West Coast Rd. So in that case, it won't duplicate 10 that much.
