  One thing that I like about this route is that he uses Tampines Ave 12 to link to Tampines Ave 9 which is currently served by 28, 29, 293

  Ya. Thatz why. My motive isn't from Punggol - Ubi (It'z Tamp - Ubi/Kaki Bukit and Punggol - Tamp (28,29,293 area). Maybe can extend to erm... I dunno wad la.

  993 Woodlands to Harbourfront

  Woodlands Int - Ave 3 - BKE - Bt Panjang Road - Upp Bt Timah Road - Jln Anak Bukit - Clementi Road - AYE- Alexandra Road - Telok Blangah Road - Harbourfront.

  Mirrors 963 but avoids the slow portion in Hillview and Bukit Batok. Gives direct bus link for Woodlands pple to Ngee Ann Poly, Singapore Poly.

  998 Choa Chu Kang to Harbourfront

  CCK Int - CCK Way - Bt Batok Road - Jurong Town Hall Road - AYE - Clementi Road -  Pasir Panjang Road - Telok Blangah Road - Harbourfront.

  Mirrors 188 but provides a direct link.

  Serving Bukit Panjang Road, BKE, Turf Club Exit, Kranji MRT and vice versa instead of replicating with Service 170 along Woodlands Road.

  Bukit Panjang Residents can take 160 to Jurong East too! =)

  I know. But why replicate 170 from Ten Mile Junction to Kranji MRT section along Woodlands Road?

  Service 160 quite empty throughout the day. If got 160, think the whole bus will be quite packed. 

  Can earn more revenue and benefit more residents in Bukit Panjang.

  I think that rerouting 160 to pass by Bukit Panjang followed by BKE then Turf Club Ave and Woodlands Rd is a good idea due to several reasons.

   

  1. Its route will be more unique instead of duplicating 170, 960, 961 from Ten Mile Junction all the way to Kranji MRT station.

   

  2. Residents residing near Bangkit Rd do not have direct bus to Jurong East interchange. The best direct bus is by 187 to Jurong East Central followed by a 2 bus stop distance walk from there to Jurong East.

   

  3. As a result of this rerouting, residents residing along Bukit Panjang can utilise 160 to Johor instead of taking 960 to transfer to 160 or 170 along Woodlands Rd.

   

  But sadly, Bukit Panjang is a SMRT dominated territory.

  Agreed with you. Many people utilise service 12 along Pasir Ris Dr 6 and Dr 1 to get to Expo or to Bedok Sth areas.

  If SBS want to extend also cannot, Company X buses which run pass Company Y terrority must take the shorthest way out. Compaines X and Y may mean all sorts of things
