lol. Thought of this route before. However, I have dismissed the idea because in that case, it is additional duplication with service 65 from Tampines to Little India. Besides, Ubi Ave 2 doesn't have a direct bus to Bedok and have 3 bus services instead to Tampines. -

Why merge the 2 CityShopper services?
- The cost of the premium service is quite prohibitive to most people.
- CityShopper services doesn't run during morning and evening peak hours in weekdays. Hence the office workers staying in Tampines Ave 5, 9, St 34 and Simei and working along Newton, Orchard or Suntec area will not be able to benefit from the new service since it started in Dec 07.
- Can help to alleviate the crowds taking Express 518 to Orchard. 518 demand during peak hours is always quite high. Even in saturdays and sundays, you may not be able to get in 518 when going home from Orchard.
- Can compete with SMRT's 531 for office crowds, especially since SMRT raised the fares to $4.
- Simei currently doesn't have any Express service.

unless express service can cancel those type of cards that are prohbited except SeasonPass.or else not really fair for those people going to fairs at Suntec.

NO WAY. If someone living in Tamp Ave 5/St 83/Ave 4 Area needs to take a loop around tamp before reching PIE. And those living at Ave 7 will lose their link to Orchard / Suntec if that happens.
