It's better for bishan buses to use Ave 6 to minimize congestion along Ave 8
i'm wondering whether these BCs will use Yio Chu Kang Rd, CTE, AMK Ave 1, Bishan Rd to get to Bishan Interchange to avoid the traffic lights...

well i not too sure also but for the time being, let's assume there is really no specific rule stipulating that BC have to use the assigned route from their respective depots to bus interchanges/terminals and they can choose whatever routes they deem is the fastest,
nevertheless in my opinion, there is still this herd mentality among BCs operating a particular service that a route has long been chosen and commonly agreed to be the fastest and most effective and everyone will follow their peers and ultimately stick to this "customary" route, although not compulsory
let's take sv 22 for eg, BCs scheduled for the first few early buses at Tamp int generally agreed with one another that the shortest and fastest way to get there from AMDEP is by YCK Rd, CTE, TPE, then Tamp Ave 12,9,7, in the end every Sv 22 BCs follow the majority and uses this route
apart from those eccentric BCs who choose not to follow their peers and prefer to drive their buses abt 10-15 mins earlier and venture some different but longer routes, taking their buses for a "warm up" spin in the cool hours of dawn before starting their work proper -
or detour somewhere for breakfast

Nothing ironic, there are other examples, eg, 72 using TPE, SLE to get back to AMDEP. 21 also. -
62 uses TPE from Punggol to HGDEP, so its quite interesting to see 997A speeding down TPE.

One more thing to add:
I believe Svc 26 follows the EUN routes from BRAM eastbound, then proceeds straight along PIE after Jln Eunos, followed by BDK Nth Rd & Ave 1.
As for other BRAM routes not previously mentioned:
139 (BMR): BRAM, Braddell Road, U - Turn, Bradell Rd, CTE, Jln BMR, BMR Ctr.
145 (BNV): BRAM, Braddell Road, U - Turn, Bradell Rd, CTE, PIE, Lornie Rd, all the way to BNV. -

I think nowadays WL 980 buses start from Sembawang Int, according to the timesheet
Most of the 980s that start from Geylang are normally AMK buses -
Service 975 should end at LCK, then use Neo Tiew Rd & Kranji Way along Kranji Reservoir park to get back to Kranji depot
