Deployment of SMRT buses on svcs 178, 187 and 980 from WLDEP

have been noticing tat these above 3 mentioned smrt svcs have frequently been using massive CAC nissans
with the expectation on addition of CSS rego CAC nissans svc 980 from WL have been using CAC cameos daily
svcs 178 had some TIB rego CAC nissan as perm bus (TIB1248D, TIB1250X, TIB1251T, TIB1252R) whereas svc 187 have cameos too
anybody have any comments may post here

If this forums have scanias merc volvos leylands daf haters.. The forum will be filled with...........all these threads -
No reason to hate Scanias since these vehicles belong to the elite class.
However, Volvo B10M Mk IIIs and DAF SB220LTs truly deserve to be hated. -

Why are there so many ex-CSS buses returning to the parent company? Don't tell me 608 is going to disappear from service very soon?

these 3 or 4 buses are from SMRT's bishan depot shuttle. so logically there is no change on CSS side itself.
PA lances took over the shuttle duties. nothing's changed on either side. -

The ELBO Scanias... no need to say anything...
The WA ones are starting to rattle, water leaks from holes (the screws which dropped off) in the A/C panel, it also can't shift gears smoothly... -
found out that Nissan Diesel is now owned by the Volvo Group who purchased 13% of the company
